THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION!!! This is a really clean and well cared for 1996 Honda XR80. Excellent condition. Starts on first or 2nd kick consistently. Shifts through all gears well. Easy to maintain (electronic ignition, no points). Brakes, clutch and transmission all work great. Tires are like new. The following are new: side panels, rear inner tube, front number plate and seat cover. The following aftermarket items are also included: foam air filter, cross bar pad and folding shift lever. This bike is clean, straight and solid. No leaks. Always stored indoors to our knowledge, never raced or abused. Bike has just recently been tuned up: valves set, cam chain adjusted, carb gone through and oil changed. Handles great (mono-shock rear end) and really rips! There was never a speedometer on this model, so mileage is unknown. Great trail bike, pit bike or beginner bike. The pictures tell the story! Why pay thousands for a new CRF when they really haven’t changed much all these years? This cycle is a LOT of fun, for young or young at heart! I hate to see it go, but I'm told I have too many bikes in the collection already (HUH?). My loss is your gain. This bike was ridden on private property since 2002, which is the last time it was green sticker registered in Calif. (I left the green sticker on, but it is expired). We did a VIN check with CA DMV computer and the VIN was not found, so it means it’s not stolen and has dropped out of the DMV computer for back fees. This would be treated as a new registration in Calif., I’m not sure about other states. Still has original OEM USFS exhaust and spark arrestor. We try to accurately describe the shortcomings, but look at the photos and ask questions before bidding. This is not a new bike, not musuem quality - it is used and has some minor wear and tear but in excellent used condition overall - see photos!
