Vehicle Detail
1972 CST Chevy Blazer All Original This is a no reserve auction. I suspect that the first verifiable bid will end the auction and buy the truck, but I may also be persuaded to wait 48 hours for others to weigh in. This is my 1972 CST Chevy Blazer. It is an all original truck and is in very good condition. The engine is the original 350, though is now an older rebuild. I am the third owner of the vehicle, but cannot verify the mileage as accurate on the rebuild, as the last owner was only certain that the rebuild had taken place sometime in the past. This truck runs out straight and smooth every time. It is in very good condition, and is highly reliable. You will certainly be able to drive this truck home, even as I did when I purchased it. The truck starts up quickly and reliably, runs and idles well, and shows good power on the highway. It does not smoke, whether during start up, idling or running down the road. It has excellent brakes, and dual exhaust as well. This truck is ready for an easy restoration, or of course can remain as it is. The paint has faded now, as you can see from the photos, and the driver’s side seat has a crack in the vinyl. There is rust behind both doors and this will require two small patch panels for a restoration. The lower sill of the tailgate has also rusted, and will either need a sill panel or, perhaps simpler, replacement. The small dash pad is also cracked. All components of the Blazer are in good working order. I am not in possession of the original radio. A CD player/tuner is in place instead. I do have the original wheels, and they come with the purchase of the vehicle. This is a strong running, clean Blazer and with a couple of small patch panels and a fresh coat of paint will be about the easiest restoration a person might reasonably expect. This vehicle is located in Southwest Oregon, about 5 minutes from I-5. If you are in the vicinity and would like an inspection and test drive, don’t hesitate to contact me and we can set up a convenient time to do so. I will assist in any way I can with transport of the vehicle. We also have a small local airport in nearby Roseburg for anyone who wishes to fly in and drive the truck home. Full payment for the vehicle is due 48 hours after an accepted bid. Thanks for looking. Ask questions.
