Vehicle Detail
1990 Mercedes Benz 560 SEL also known as the "Flagship" of Mercedes that year! This is a great road car with minor problems. A/C works great and all power windows and door locks work as well. This car rides great on the road and is German engineered all the way through. The car does has a few minor problems right now, they are as follows......bad window switch on driver side rear window. radio doesn't work. Transmission 2 to 3 gear flare is the major one. Heater mono-valve is going bad. Any questions please ask and I am open to trades so let me know what you have. Please keep it reasonable though. I promise you will not be disappointed with this car as the interior is also in great condition. This car originally sold for $74,000 when it was new, no kidding, you can find that on NADA. This is also listed locally by the way. I might be able to trailer to your location but that would be something we would have to discuss as far as price and so-forth, other wise it is on you to transport vehicle after sale. I still dive this car every other day to work I have been asked what do I mean by 2-3 gear flare in my description, this is what happens...when the vehicle is cold, when you start driving, it will take longer to shift from 2-3. What I mean by that is the normal time it takes to shift from those gears are longer when its cold than when its warmed up. This is something that I have been living with over the past year by making sure it is warmed up and taking it easy until it starts to act right. This problem is somewhat common to these cars and the fix is supposed to be pretty easy but it would involve dropping the transmission pan and changing a spring on the valve body.
