Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a 1951 Chevy Tin Woody Deluxe. The car has been parked in a barn in ID for most of its later life and is a perfect candidate for a restoration as it has the original straight six engine, original interior and most interior and exterior trim and molding pieces. It is a manual three speed on the column. The car runs and drives just fine and just made a trip from ID to MT, which included a trip over Lost Trail Pass. Below is a link to a youtube video the the car starting up taking off out of the driveway, turning around and heading back down the road: http://youtu.be/jP5bUIqR_9M The doors open and close nice and tight and has hardware on three of the four passenger doors. Windows function on the passenger doors, but there are some cracks in most of the window glass. The rear door glass and hardware are in good shape and function well. The hood opens and closes nice and tight. The front and rear seat are original. The front seat has been upholstered and has a tear in it. The rear seat has original upholstery and has tears. Some of the car has been converted to 12v, enough to make the trip from ID to MT. The rest that was not necessary for driving occasionally is still 6v. The car has most if not all of the exterior chrome molding and there is a picture of the extra parts, molding and trim that is included. Most of the wood interior is there, it looks like there are two of the wood trim pieces gone from the rear and all of the wood ceiling ribs are there. There is typical rust on the floor pan of a car this age, but is easily remedied. Other than the floor pans there is little to no rust on the car. Below is a link to a youtube video of a walk around of the vehicle to show doors functioning, video of engine compartment, etc.: http://youtu.be/nY60IU6bJkE With a few minor fixes, this car would be a cruiser to run back and forth to town in. Overall for a 1951, this car is in very good shape. Please let me know if you have any question or would like any additional information.
