Up for auction we have a clean 1981 BMW R65LS. We are a BMW motorcycle dealership & we acquired this motorcycle from a client of our recently. We have put this motorcycle through our service department & it received an oil change, carb clean, brake flush, gas tank flush, new spark plugs, along with an overall inspection and safety check. This 30+ year old motorcycle now starts, runs and goes through all the gears just fine. The only cosmetic flaws would be a faded BMW Logo on the right side of the gas tank, and a few minor rips in the seat which are barely noticeable (see images). Otherwise, this BMW is in good condition both mechanically & cosmetically. This motorcycle does need a new battery, but otherwise is all set to ride. This BMW R65LS is being sold with a Clean Massachusetts Title, but although the odometer reads 2002, we are selling this motorcycle as T.M.U. (True Mileage Unknown).
