Absolutely beautiful Karmann Ghia coupe. This car has been completely restored and started with a very low milage car. There is no rust and never has been. Note the Calif. Black Plates signifying that it was delivered and always stayed in Calif. Matching pair of plates that came with the car. I am the second owner since new, buying from the original Dentist owner about 8 years ago. We have truly enjoyed the car and it has been my wires cruise night, car show driver. Less than 70,000 original miles!! The car was stripped down and painted 1 time with a $5000. paint job, including all new rubber from front to back. Truly remarkable condition. The motor was rebuilt and balanced with 2 Solex carb.s and hydraulic lifters! (never need to adjust and super quiet. The transmission was given new bearings, seals, etc. and is whisper quiet. There is les than 10,000 since the rebuild. Note the perfect nose, never touched and never repaired! It looks like a "67 as we had the side markers removed during restoration, but it is registered as a '68. Love the look! The interior is 100% perfect. Sorry about the leaves but we have a lot of trees. Very nice Clarion stereo with custom made speaker boxes so no need to cut into original door panels or kick sides. I didn't use a real high quality camera, so if you want me to reshoot or any other pictures, let me know. (there was a lot of sun when I took the pictures) We do have it for sale locally, so I have to reserve the right to end early if needed. The Buy it now is what I'm asking locally and I have been getting interest. The reserve is much less and it will go to the highest reasonable bid. So bid with confidence! It ids ready to go in to a V.W. showroom, it's that nice! The car is sold as is, where is, but I can help with shipping arrangements if needed. Please ask questions, if you have any. We're retiring and want to do some traveling, so this fine investment is going to have to be sacrificed. Locals are welcome to come drive and others can go on line and I'll take it to any shop within 20 miles for inspection.
