This is my 1973 Pontiac Firebird Formula 400 with ram air hood that I bought new when I was 18 years old. I've had it all this time and only put 43000 miles on it. It came equipped with a 400ci engine with an automatic transmission, 3:42 safe -T track rear and rally II wheels. ( I chose early on to install 15" honeycombs. ) The color is Valencia Gold with a tan custom interior. Some of the options are air conditioning, rear window defroster (non functional) am/fm radio (non functional) tilt formula steering wheel, full gauges (clock non functional), tinted glass, ram air hood and dealer installed ram air air cleaner. Back in the late 80's a truck backed into the top of the left fender and dented it. I had the fender repaired and the car painted with single stage paint. The area that was repaired is starting to bubble a bit. ( Bondo only lasts so long!) There are no other trouble spots on the car and definately no rust thru on any panel. The drivers seat is split at the bottom and I have secured some correct material to repair it. I will send it along with the car. I have one NOS R/ fender and one lightly used L/ fender that I will let go with the car. I'm near 60 now and the car should be taken to the next level of restoration. It runs and drives just fine and is very dependable ( in fact it's never let me down) but after a divorce and 3 kids in college I just don't think I want to devote any more of the finances I have left to improve the car. I do not have any original documentation for the car ( she got custody of it in the divorce and destroyed it) but I do have PHS and everything will check out as original and mumbers matching.
