1964 VW BEETLE CLASSIC: I have owned this car for about a year now, it’s time for a new project, this Car is a total rebuild, all new brake system, steering, Engine (1600 Dual Port). All Mechanical work done by a 40+-year veteran of VW service. Solid car, new pans, all other is solid & clean. Engine compartment, sandblasted, painted, Dynamat, the covered with a Stainless Steel Covers. Car Features: Pop out rear - Windows, new interior, carpet, mats, seat covers, sun visors, glove box etc. Original Seats New battery, car converted to 12volt system. Dash is not cut! Radio Block off plate installed-needs trim piece Gauges work, Speedo off slightly due to tires, lights, wipers, etc New window regulators, New Seat Belts, All rubber, windows gaskets, felts, seals- new New gas tank and Fuel lines All new brakes, drums-components, lines-hard lines, and soft lines, new Dual Master Cylinder New front axle Beam, and all new components, New taillights, headlights, turn signals New Steering Box, and components (Tie-ends, etc), new shocks New trim pieces, running boards Drop Spindles in front. Rear has been lowered, Car sits w/ nice rake! New Wheels (Empi GT-5’Spokes w/ Black Centers) and tires (Kuhmo radials), maybe 400 miles on them. New spare tire & powder coated stock rim Car has all new paint, about 1 year old, needs final buffing, original German bumpers, they are not perfect, in good shape, not perfect. Painted, Single Stage Acrylic Paint Sherwin William Automotive paint #5A34499-C Tornado Red, Code G2G2, close to original 64, but is a 91-10’ VW Color, have little over Quart of extra paint. Teflon buttons Hi Flow Hvy oil Pump, HD Fan Large capacity oil Cooler Stock rebuilt Solex Carb, new fuel pump New One wire Alternator, and new Alt.stand. New Custom Candy Powder coated Fan shroud, and tins New Electronic Distributor, Bosch High Output Coil, & Plug wires New Hvy Duty Clutch & pressure plate, Axle Boots, New solid Motor Mount Empi Finned Valve Covers Billet Breather for Crankcase New Pulleys New GT Style EMPI Exhaust CLEAR FLORIDA TITLE This is the true meaning of a Turn-Key Car. This is a strong, running motor !! This car starts right up every time, cruises down the road, or highway. I would not hesitate to jump in, any time and go. I have had, VW’s with large performance motors, they can be finicky, this car fires first time, and just purrs, I’ve driven the car to 2 shows, and cruise-ins, it’s fun to watch the ‘punch-bugs”, & this car gets as much attention as any, along with lots of VW stories .
