This is a Beautiful 1968 Toyota Land cruiser up for auction and highly sought after. This classic fj40 is built for the trail and will out perform any other land cruiser. The highest quality parts available where used on this vehicle. This uses the land cruiser frame and body but has 1 ton running gear under the vehicle. The axles have been narrowed to keep the land cruiser width. This allows vehicle keep the land cruiser look but combines modifications that make it an unbreakable on the trail. This vehicle has a 350 throttle body motor with a SM365 transmission. The axles are a one ton Dana 60 in the front and a Dana 70 in the rear. It has the 44044 springs and is sprung over. This allows for a better ride and better articulation. This has an Atlas 2 with a 5:1 gear ratio transfer case in it along with air lockers in the front and a Detroit locker in the rear. Custom bumpers where made for the front and rear of the vehicle. It has a York air compressor. This allows you to fill tires and run your air locker. The compressor runs off of the engine and it has a stainless air tank. The warn winch on the front of the vehicle is the 8274 model and is one of the best on the market today. You have two gas tanks on this vehicle giving you peace of mind that you have plenty of gas and don’t have to mess around with jerry cans. There dual exhaust pipes coming out of the rear bumper. There is a custom swing away that holds a spare tire with a folding table when open with a light wired in. There are brand new BFG’S 37 inch tires with new Trail Ready aluminum bead lock Rims. The tires and rims were over $4000 dollars alone. The shocks are a Brillstein shocks. A custom traction bar was installed to prevent any axle wrap. You will stop on a dime with the four way disc Brakes. Braided stainless brake line was use to go from the hard line to the calipers. There is even an electronic line lock wired in when you set the emergency brake insuring that the vehicle is not going anywhere. You also have a hand throttle located on the stick shift making it easier to get out of those hard shift places. This allows you to keep your foot on the brake and clutch and you can still give it some gas. The frame was painted with a flat paint for easy touch up after use. The Tuffy center console is not only a drink holder it also holds you AM/FM CD radio in it. The list goes on and on. As you can see a lot of thought and time was poured into this vehicle and it shows. You could not build this vehicle for what you can buy it for.
