Vehicle Detail

1968 Plymouth GTX You are bidding on a very nice restored 1968 Plymouth GTX finished in the best color Mopar ever had - Plum Crazy Purple. This is a very nice original car with a clean restoration ready for local shows, cruise nights, and Mopar events. She runs out nice and drives down the road real nice. Perfect for weekend trips and fun drives. You’ve been looking for a sweet Mopar. Your search has ended. The body is in super nice condition. The panels are straight and solid. The quarters appear to be possibly original and in great shape. The floors and frame rails are solid, as well as the trunk. The fenders, doors, rockers, hood and trunk lid are also in great shape. The Plum Crazy Purple paint is professionally done and super smooth with a great shine. It really pops. The chrome and trim are in nice condition. The tail panel has some minor pitting in the pot metal, but in better condition then most of the ones I have seen for being original. The Black Bucket Seat interior appears to be in restored condition. The front buckets seats and rear seat are in very nice shape. The console with shifter is in wonderful original condition. The carpet looks to be new or recently replaced. The door panels are fantastic. The headliner is in great shape as well. The original radio is still in place (not working) with a period installed Craig/Pioneer 8-Track mounted under the dash. The trunk is nicely detailed with floor mat and original spare tire. Powering this beautiful GTX is a non matching 440cid Super Commando 375hp engine. The motor runs well. The 727 automatic transmission shifts nicely. Backing this up is an 8 ¾ rear with highway friendly gears. She has power steering and manual brakes. The suspension rides very nice and this muscle car goes down the road very well. She rides on stock style steel wheels with dog dish caps and 255/60/15 BFGoodrich T/A Radials all around. Overall, this is one very nicely restored Plymouth GTX. It runs well, drives great, looks terrific and is something that will bring you years of fun and smiles. This Mopar Muscle Car will definitely get you a lot of looks on the road and thumbs up at the shows. You know you want it, just hit the “Buy it Now”. DON’T PASS THIS ONE BY!
