Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my beautiful showstopping 1968 Porsche 911L. The car was finished in a special order '68 only Golden Green paint by PPG. I had the interior modified with a 930 style cabin to fit my tall body comfortably. This means the chairs sit lower and roll further back, RS door panels for more arm space, and a steel welded dash for a clean vintage look, no clutter. All of the chrome and aluminum trim has been stripped, plated and polished with no expense spared. All lenses, badges, emblems, script, etc. is all new old stock, nothing was carried over. All new seals ($1700 worth) from Stoddard Porsche. All nuts, bolts, door lock mechanisms, and hardware sent out for acid wash and cadmium plating. Spare tire, guages and wiper arms powder coated. Doors, hood, decklid and bumpers painted off the car for a factory style finish. There is not one single dent, ding, scratch or scuff on the entire body. Once again, there is not one single dent, ding, scratch or scuff on the entire body. Seats completely rebuilt; super firm houndstooth inserts and red leather. Motor is a '75 2.7 with pop off and 11 blade fan, gearbox is from a '79 SC with electronic speedo. New starter, speed sensor, fuel pump, CIS nylon fuel lines, fuel pressure accumulator, clutch and flywheel, clutch return springs, cables, bosch silber plugs, valve cover gaskets, rear main, intake seals, custom oil cooling external thermostat removed, new MSD 6AL ignition box w/rev limiter and tach adapter. Car only has about 100-200 miles on it since completion. Too much work to list. Car is 98% complete. Needs gauges wired up properly (wires there, readings not accurate), horn sensor (new Hella horns wired up and working, simple part install), cold start valve or CIS adjustment (runs too lean when cold, runs perfect once warm), 2nd gear is sometimes hard to slide into (30% of the time) and oil leak from drain plug on tank (need impact wrench to un-torque). I have the missing torsion tube cover and powder coated shift coupler cover and will include it with sale. The heater pictured in the passenger footwell is connected to the car battery and can be removed at the buyer's request. I have considered everything this car is, and is not, and I have decided to make a drastic but final reduction to the price. I am reducing the sale price from $25,000 to only $20,000. This is a one time courtesy and there will not be any further discounts or concessions. I believe this represents an excellent value and a safe purchase for anyone interested. Car is being sold in as-is condition with no warranty. Car is located in Las Vegas, Nevada. California title is clear, in hand, and in my name. My personalized license plate is not included. Payment due within 3 calendar days of auction close via bank to bank wire transfer no exceptions. Vehicle to be picked up from zip code 89117 within 14 days of auction close. Email questions. Call only to purchase (310)498-7486.
