This is a 1987 Suzuki Samurai 4x4 that has been converted to electric. The top speed is about 60 mph, the range is any ware from 15 to 40+ miles depending on how it is driven. Acceleration is about stock to 35 mph when fully charged, 35 to 60 mph is a bit slow. It is highway capable 50-60 mph but more suitable for town driving, the faster you go the shorter the range. This conversion was finished in the spring of 2011 with 12 new batteries and a new GE motor controller. The truck's body has had new sheetmetal welded/brazed in the floor, sills and rear fender wells to fix any rust, then it was coated with rubberized plastic. The car was primed and painted, the paint is not perfect but most people don't seem to notice. The seats are aftermarket. This truck does not have a clutch ( not needed ), or back seat I would advise that buyer has some understanding of electric vehicles , how to work on them and the potential dangers involved in operating and maintaining them. Your state may require additional saftey features like orange high voltage wires, inertia switch etc. Technical Power used on a flat road with no wind. (100 amps @ 35mph) (175-200 amps @ 50mph) ( 250-300 amps @ 60 mph ). Battery total 72v 230 amp 16.1 kw @ 20 hour rate. Motor GE 8" series, dual brush, reversed . controller GE 700-800 amp 72v. Charger 110 volt charger 25 amp pwm. Victron 90v battery monitor . 1000w ceramic heater . Volvo vacuum pump for brakes. Kelly dc dc converter. Some parts should still be under warranty.
