Vehicle Detail
1984 M1009 Chevy Blazer I need to move this year, so I need to down size. I had some major plans for the Blazer....my loss your gain. 6.2L Detroit Diesel (It does run) It actually runs a few minutes after you switch it to the "off" position....not sure what the issue is. Items Replaced: Cowl Induction Hood, Inner/Outer Fenders, Radiator Support, 4" Rough Country Lift Kit with shocks/boots, Skyjacker Stainless Steel Brake Lines, Front Grill, 24 Volt Starter, Oil Pan, Rough Country Drag Link and Transfer Case Drop Kit, 14 Bolt Full Float Rear End (4:10) Gear Ratio, GM Dana 60 Front End with Warn Manual Locking Hubs (4:10) Gear Ratio, 2 Optima Yellow Top Batteries and beefy wires hooking them up, Headlight Wiring Harness, Rear Disc Brake Conversion Installed, Block Heater Installed, Hitch Installed, Topper from an 87', and I installed a manual glow plug control and lights for the interior and the license plate. (LMC is a great place to get parts....). All the above parts are new except for the axles and the topper........took awhile to find them used. I have a pile of extra parts for the truck as well.....mostly hardware, seat belts, odometer face, lighting harnesses, etc which is being sold with the Blazer. The Blazer currently does not have the rear drive shaft.....the OEM shaft is too short due to the lift and the axle swap. I got this thing cranked up and drove it out of my garage 2 weeks ago using the 4x4 (front drive shaft). I have looked at numerous rear drive shaft versions online.....pretty affordable pending what you want. I left town after moving it and it leaked a little from the rear main, the transmission pan, and the block heater......if I have some time, I'll fix the block heater, tranny pan leak. I was trying to make this thing a beast without lifting it too much...it's a good start on an old 4x4. I bought this thing in Tennessee and drove it 250 miles back home and it got 20 miles to the gallon. I would love to finish it, but it's no longer a practical option. Way more time and money than I'm asking for it. The Blazer will have to be trailered to your home, but it can be driven up on to a trailer. As/Is No Warranty Implied or Otherwise Thanks for looking!!!!
