Vehicle Detail
up for auction is my 1992 Cavalier RS. I personally have owned this vehicle for the past 10 years. I drove it sparingly and made any necessary repairs on the car as needed. It has been garaged since I have owned it. Two years ago I replaced the convertible top and it is like new. It has new tires, recent brake job including new rotors and pads, new front struts and rear shocks. All the power window motors were replaced this past years. new speakers front and back--has original am/fm cassette(I also have the original cassette-never opened that was issued by GM when new) Last year I had transmission fluids changes and filter. The interior is in excellent condition. Only exception is the dash lifted just a bit where defroster is but it is not cracked--most likely from Florida sun. The engine is a strong 6cyl with lots of additional power, there are no engine sounds and it runs excellent(thus the low mileage of 78,000) the transmission shifts through all the gears in sync. Paint on the car is very good but not perfect. The front end cap which is plastic was painted(it faded to an orange color) and restored to the original red. Apparently the right side of the car got too much Florida sunlight and some of clearcoat lifted so a trip to the auto body shop fixed all that. Sanded down and painted original color-the paint matched excellent. The rear right quarter panel and door was matched. There has been no accidents/no bondo/ and 75% of the car is all GM original paint. The black bumpers were faded so I had the auto body shop restore them to the original condition. Overall the car looks very sharp for its age and drive excellent. The Florida title I have has the actual mileage listed on it as 71,214 which was issued when I bought the car. The mileage is accurate. You could drive this car anywhere so feel free to fly down and drive home. Perhaps take a vacation if Florida. I am just looking for fair market value and I will sell the car. Any questions you may call my cell 386-249-2723. Have a Happy New Year. Bid only if your intentions are to own. Thanks for looking. It is in excellent condition. On Jan-03-12 at 21:51:25 PST, seller added the following information: Today I noticed that one of the rear power windows would not go down. I feel it may just be a loose connection--the window motor is new. The rear panel comes off easily to get to it. I will be looking for best offers after the auction if it does not hit the reserve. Approximately 3 days to end of auction. On Jan-04-12 at 10:10:35 PST, seller added the following information: Air conditioning blows cold/heater hot.
