“STUNNING / RARE” {F-COLOR CODE AQUA} 1970 MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE UNMOLESTED! Here is something that you don’t see every day. A laser straight original 2 owner dark Aqua classic rag top pony! < 1969 & 1970 has to be one of the best years for Ford when you are considering the Mustang. Up for auction is a pretty unique classic car. 1st off this vehicle is in great shape. Are a bit bored with the status quoa red, black and blue vintage muscle cars on the street? If you answered yes “this is a horse of a different color that should definitely excite you”! Up for sale here is a low production {F-Code} Dark Aqua blue metallic Mustang that is absolutely gorgeous which truly has to be seen to be appreciated! The color of this vintage pony really jumps out at you! It will be nearly impossible for you to make it a full block without someone telling you about how beautiful it is. The paint is simply blinding in the sun and majestic at dusk. It would almost seem that this was Fords 1st official mystic colored muscle car. The car almost seems brilliant blue at certain periods during the day although it can also appear to be teal blue if clouds are present! At night this beauty comes off as a dark aqua blue/green muscle machine. Yet it can also show itself to be an awesome shade of royal blue metallic as well! Regardless to see the car in person is to really admire it! The exterior shade is quite different and very RARE! It was only offered in the 1970 model year. Unlike a lot of classic Mustangs this one is not just another pretty face riddled with rust and bondo lurking beneath. The body panels of this particular pony are original & rock solid! Upon inspection you’ll find that the overall body is very uniform and straight {there is one very small dent on the drivers door…. please see photos}.’ That being said I can assure you that you’ll be proud to pull this Blue Oval out of the garage! It is not only a wonderful Mustang that can grace your garage floor or local car show either. It is also a “VERY SOUND” investment! One should consider just how rare the V/8 convertible 1970 Mustang is. Just for example in 1969 there was 14,746 convertible Mustangs produced. However in 1970 the rag top Mustangs production was nearly cut in half with only 7673 cars manufactured {only a little over 5,000 were V/8 models}! Among various Mustang collectors and just about all classic car investment guides {such as Keith Martins classic car investment manual} the 1970 Mustang is said to surely appreciate much more than its 1969 sibling. As with all & any antique item rarity is king! Anyway ….back to the description. The factory high back {B/A code} black vinyl seat upholstery is in fantastic shape. There is no damage to report in regards to the interior at all. The door panels, carpet & dash are all in excellent condition! All of the glass is in very good shape and the front windshield is nice as well. The high grade convertible top was replaced recently and it is in magnificent shape! Although I have expounded on the cars beauty a bit much I would like to speak about the heart of this Mustang. That would be the {F-Code} 302 V/8 engine that rest under the hood of the car. The motor is in phenomenal shape! This pony starts with just a twist of the key! This vintage Ford Mustang is extremely dependable. Not only is the motor original to the car it has also been religiously maintained. The vehicle tracks wonderfully & the low mileage block loves to perform! Any interested party should not expect to find any mechanical issues at all. There has been a litany of parts that have been replaced over the last couple of years. This is certainly a reliable turn key car that is ready to rock & roll! The transmission shifts smooth and engages with ease also. Upon hitting the street you shouldn’t expect to creep up on anyone as this Mustang has a nostalgic growl! You will find a full chambered exhaust with Flow Master mufflers underneath. Tucked beneath the wheel wells of this car are four brand new Magnum 500 steel style wheels. Although most classic Mustangs make use of the 14 inch mags, I decided to install massive 15x8 inch wheels on this one which really looks aggressive! The Magnums not only give the car a real race ready Muscle Car look they also huge the road a bit better. The wheels are wrapped in spank brand new 215/70/15 & 225/70/15 inch Firestone Firehawk performance radials! By all accounts and from bumper to bumper this particular pony is a winner! I don’t want to fail to mention the cars super solid underbody. There absolutely no rust or rot issues with this one! The car shows evidence of being sheltered through the years. Garaged and covered {car cover included}. This Mustang is ready to be driven and enjoyed! It is very responsive and a blast to cruise. There is still much more that can be said about this nice Mustang. However at the end of the day I am sure that the new potential owner will be more than pleased with it. Here you can have a NICE convertible 1970 pony that is sure to continue to appreciate and capture more attention than the Machs, GTs, etc…. at a reasonable price. I think that I have received more questions & compliments about this car than most of my previous classic Mustangs.
