For Sale is my 1962 Austin Healey Sprite Mark II, a great running, solid Florida car. I'm taking advantage of a free Ebay listing, Sooo....is anyone out there thinking about racing around in a roadster come Springtime, yet? This car has had everything mechanically addressed in the last year after sitting previously for 9 years. I have well over $3000 in invoices from 2011, so you can be assured of the car's driveability. The paint is solid but old. The interior had been stripped for sanctioned road racing usage, but may well need further things done if you plan to race the car. A larger Austin Healey engine had been previously installed for more performance, with a racing cam, custom header and straight exhaust pipe. Car sounds and runs great at speed! Because of the "off" season and because I have too many other cars to deal with, I will let this car go for the best offer over $3000, or the buy it now price is also available. Think it's the perfect entry point for this car, pricewise, and will confide I have well over $5500 invested, but feel it is time to let someone come in to either drive as is, or finish the car as required by your sanctioning body for vintage road racing.
