1970 Triumph Bonneville

You are looking at a 1970 Triumph Bonneville Hard Tail Chopper. I am not sure when the last time this bike was on the road, as the owner is deceased. It made it's journey to Illinois within the last 10 years. The license plate was dated 1998. Along with everyone else, I had big dreams of putting this bike back on the road. This bike has a Maryland title and the # 's match the frame. The engine numbers do not match the title (see pic). Engine kicks over nicely. The front end (extended length - approx 35 inches from top of tree to the axle) is mocked up and will need to be gone through. Included are new neck bearings, seals and boots. Internals seemed to be in useable condition. The front wheel will need to be gone through also. Mechanicially the bike is close to complete. What you see in the pics is included in the sale. Only 1 of the seats come with the bike (you choose). Also I will throw in some used parts I have. Rear fender, head light, chain guard, misc nuts/bolts. I do not have a gas tank that will fit, due to the rake. There are nicks and chips. Some parts look powder coated, others rattle can. Please ask questions. I will answer them in the evening.
