Guess who's back, back again, tell a friend... Attention: Investors, Collectors and Cadillac Enthusiasts! ORIGINAL, ORIGINAL, ORIGINAL!!!!!! Over the last 15 years I’ve seen thousands of classic cars and trucks at multiple major car shows and multiple major auction venues. I’ve also owned and sold over 100 classic cars and trucks. As my website indicates I’ve had some very special classic cars and trucks. THE 1964 CADILLAC COUPE DEVILLE YOU’RE ABOUT TO WITNESS IS ONE OF THE NICEST ORIGINAL CLASSIC CARS I’VE EVER SEEN!!!!!!!!! 44,350 pampered original miles!!!!! Yes, 44,350 original miles!!!! CADILLAC FOR 1964 "More Tempting than Ever" "THE BRILLIANT DEVILLE SERIES" This car has NEVER been disassembled! All the sheet metal is all original! The factory gaps are perfection especially when you open and close everything. The exterior has been painted in its original factory born white. The glass, stainless window trim, bumpers, grill etc is all original and in absolutely gorgeous condition! It gets even better as you enter in the factory correct ORIGINAL white and black interior! Yes, this interior is all original and looks like the day it rolled off the showroom floor. The upholstery, headliner, dash, carpets, pedals, switches, etc are in amazing condition. WOW, this car is 47 years old! It gets even better; everything in this interior also works like it should. The gauges, radio, power options, temperature controls and even the quartz clock!!!!!!!!! The original and never rebuilt 429 V8 runs beautifully. Right from the factory it produced 340 HP. The oil is so clean it looks like Olive oil. It doesn’t burn a drip. The engine compartment is also original and looks amazing! The factory air conditioning blows ice cold. The trunk compartment has its Bias Ply spare tire with wood wedge from factory. It also retains its original carpet. In the photos below I took a picture underneath the carpet to show the original factory glue. The undercarriage has been acid washed and detailed but is also ORIGINAL!!!! This car looks, feels, runs and drives like new. As most classic car and trucks collectors are aware Cadillac’s are very expensive to restore. This Cadillac has never been completely restored but looks better than most that have. There only original once and this car is an extremely rare find!!!! I challenge you to find an original Cadillac or any 47 year old car or truck that looks like this. Good Luck. Keywords that describe this piece of American Automotive History: 1. All classic Cadillac’s are very collectable and make great investments. These cars were Americas answer to automotive luxury. They’re extremely beautiful and great cars to enjoy at car shows or just to take out for a ride. The saying, "They don’t build them like they use to" came from these cars! When you open the doors, stare at the interior, listen to the engine run or feel the car on the road you’ll understand. 2. This Cadillac has 44,350 original miles. I purchased it from a friend who purchased it a few years ago from a gentleman in New Jersey. This car was obviously pampered its entire life and shows no signs of rust. It’s as solid as they come. This was the last year of the X frame and the first year for the fully automatic comfort control heating and air conditioning option. This car has this option. 3. The exterior retains all its original sheet metal. The gaps are unbelievable and the body is very straight. It’s been painted in its original factory white. The paint on this car is beautiful! The original chrome trim, lenses, door handles, bumpers, etc is absolutely beautiful. The glass is near perfection. The rubber seals and window felts are also near perfection. The hub caps have been professionally polished to show quality. The 235/75/R15 tires are also new. My friend added some exterior appointments to give this car its own character. He added lower stainless steel moldings that were only available on a 1963 Eldorado. He searched for a year and finally found enough pieces to make a complete set. Between the pieces and polishing costs he invested over $2000! These moldings are held on with earth magnets and can be removed if desired. They look amazing as the photos indicate and it’s probably the only 1964 Coupe Deville on the planet with them. He also added a correct passenger side mirror, front Cadillac ornament and Cadillac emblems on the pillars. It also has the original plate insert that he customized to match the car. The exterior of this car looks AMAZING!!!! 4. The original interior in this car has to be the nicest original interior I’ve ever seen. You couldn’t restore an interior this nice. The dash, gauges, knobs, vents, door panels, seats, carpets, headliner, etc are amazing! These seats have never been redone. In some of the interior photos I used a flash so it would show the detail especially in the dash. It made the seats look slightly faded but rest assured they’re not! Check out how beautiful the original steering wheel is! When you’re sitting in the interior of this car it feels like you’ve died and went to heaven. Does it get any better than a white and black interior in a 47 year old car? The rear seats are so spacious you could lounge back there. From what I’ve gathered even the floor mats are original!!!!! My friend also added a few interior touches such as some chrome emblems on the visors and armrest and he also put silver caps on the seat buttons to really set the interior off. Everything in the interior works like it should. The power windows go up and down smoothly, the gauges all work, the radio and antenna works, interior lights all work, clock etc. This is my favorite interior of any classic car I’ve ever owned!!!!! 5. The engine compartment is also original and very clean. The engine compartment retains mostly all of its original parts. The 429 V8 is completely matching numbers and has never been rebuilt. It’s the smoothest running engine I’ve ever heard. It starts and warms up quickly. This car cruises at 80 MPH! The Turbo Hydra-Matic transmission shifts beautifully. Cadillac’s exclusive true center drive line reduces sound and vibration practically to the vanishing point. Teamed with its all new engine, Cadillac for 1964 provided smooth, responsive and quiet performance that even the longest trip is one to look forward to with pleasure. 6. The trunk compartment is also all original. It has the original Bias Ply spare tire with wood wedge from the factory. In the photos listed below I lifted the carpet to show the glue stains from the factory. The size of this trunk is incredible. It’s big enough to fit a few bodies! LOL. 7. The undercarriage is very solid and has been professionally acid washed. My friend spent a total of $1514 on four new American Classic Whitewall tires, tail pipe and to clean the undercarriage. 8. Extras included with the sale and pictured below include the following: two sets of keys, two framed 1964 Cadillac advertisements, original brochure, 1964 Cadillac shop manual, Cadillac parts catalogs and receipts. You might only have one chance to find a car like this! Make it yours! Introduction: Hello, I'm Marc Schiliro from MS CLASSIC CARS. You might recognize my name or website from other magnificent classic cars I've listed for sale nationally. I've been playing with classic cars as a hobby for over ten years now. I didn't expect things would grow into what they have so late last year I became an official Limited Liability Company. My official business name is MS CLASSIC CARS, LLC. Most of the cars I sell now are through Barrett Jackson. There's four Barrett Jackson actions a year so I keep very busy consigning anywhere from one to eight cars per auction. I've been very fortunate to have sold some cars in the top 25 highest sales priced vehicles. Over the years I've also featured classic cars at the Carlisle Expo and Atlantic City Auto Auctions. I've also had classic cars featured in many magazines and on multiple websites. I specialize in extremely detailed classic cars. I buy cars that are finished, I redesign other people’s restorations and also coordinate complete restorations from start to finish. Sometimes I get lucky and get a car that I do nothing to it. I strongly feel that my cars have the "POP" factor. I love what I do and I'm extremely passionate about it! I have a VIP EMAIL BLAST list that gets sent via email to thousands of people anytime I get a new addition. If you'd like to be added to that list please visit my contact page on my website. The power of networking is amazing! The Market: As I've mentioned above I've been playing with classic cars for over ten years now and have seen a lot happen. I've seen the hobby continue to grow not only at the auctions but also with the amount of television shows, magazines and websites that are related to classic cars in some form or another. I strongly believe the classic car market is a great place to invest in. When the economy is strong, the classic car market is extremely strong. When the economy isn't so strong the classic car market holds it's own. I've sold classic cars in both economic conditions. The reason classic cars make such a great investment is because people are crazy about cars, especially classic cars! I've learned it's not just the United States; it’s the entire world. Barrett Jackson stated," Foreigners can sometimes represent 25% of the registered bidders at one of our auctions. At the Barrett Jackson in Scottsdale, AZ 2011 they stated, "They had a registered bidder from every state in the USA." I've also learned that no matter the gender or age, all different people appreciate this hobby. Another example would be the Barrett Jackson auto auctions; not only do millions of people watch it live on the Speed Channel but hundreds of thousands of people attend these auctions. Every year the attendance of visitors at the event and number of viewers on T.V. increase. Over the years I've noticed that the extremely detailed classic cars have always commanded a higher price. Even people who don't have any classic car experience can recognize and appreciate attention to detail. Currently the overall market is on the raise once again. Certain classic cars are on the rise and others are on the decline. Typically, the classic cars that are on the rise are the cars that a lot of people don't own. In other words there are classic cars that haven't saturated the market. The cars that are at every car show and auction and page on the Internet for sale are the ones that aren't changing in value or are slowly on the decline. Of course, if the car is spectacular it will command a higher price as I mentioned. It's all about supply and demand, not a good or bad economy. Custom cars have remained strong because each car is different from the next one. They each have their own character. This kind of changes the supply and demand theory. Unique cars that have been customized are on the rise. My 1957 Ford Fairlane I consigned to Barrett Jackson in Scottsdale, AZ 2011 would be a perfect example of that. Description from the 1964 Cadillac Coupe Deville brochure: Luxury and elegance unusual in motoring are very day by the owner of a magnificent Cadillac Coupe Deville for 1964. From its full complement of power assists and controls to its elegance appointments, the Deville achieves a new degree of perfection in motor car beauty and luxury. The special emphasis on interior luxury sets the Deville series apart from all other fine cars. Each of the four dramatic Deville models represent superb examples of craftsmanship and attention to detail that has Cadillac internationally recognized as standard of the world. In this view, you see the distinctive rear styling motif typical of all Cadillac’s for 1964. Crisp new lines of the deck lid are harmoniously blended with the bumper and rear grille to emphasize width. The fin line flows in a low, unbroken sweep from front to rear and is unmistakably Cadillac in its correctness of proportion and an outstanding example of the dignity of design and quality of craftsmanship that has maintained Cadillac’s position of styling leadership in the luxury car field. The finest compliment that can be paid to a lady is to provide her with the company of a Cadillac. Its gracious styling flatters her wherever she goes. Its luxury and conveniences pamper her every wish. The remarkable ease with which so magnificent a motor car handles gives her a felling of confidence and security unique in motordom. And, finally a Cadillac satisfies her practical nature with its gratifyingly low maintenance expense and universally recognized high resale value. Can you think of a better way to light up a lady’s eyes then to suggest that today would be a wonderful time to pick out a new 1964 Cadillac? Conclusion: I’ll say it again and again, this 1964 Cadillac is one of the most beautiful original classic cars I’ve ever laid eyes on.
