Vehicle Detail
I bought this 74 GTO a few years ago. I was going to build it using an LS1 and Six speed. That was the plan. I still want to do that its just I want something else worse and The GTO must go to help pay for my other project. You can tell by the condition of the car that it was not abused and doesnt have that many miles on the chassie. The bushings and suspension appear tight. The doors shut like new and the windows go up and down. This car rolls easily with no binding or stopping when your moving it. The car was a factory four speed so its already set up for a manual transmission. It has the Shaker scoop which is super cool! In my opinion this car will be an easy project. My plan was to put the engine and trans in and drive it while I fix it up! It would be a blast with most any engine and trans combo, espically with a standard trans! I love to bang gears!!!! These GTOs were the last ones before they recently started making them again. The production numbers were low and you dont see many of them for sale. Your investment will be safe in this car and any money you spend on it making it better will be multiplied and returned. Bidding starting at just 1200.00 with a modest reserve. If reserve is not reached I will consider the top bid if its acceptable so be on top to have first chance to buy the car. Email or call with any questions. Danny 405-620-2850. Clean Clear Oklahoma title in hand. I can deliver this car to you for 1.50 per loaded mile or if you live far away I can have a car shipping company bring it to either coast for around 800.00 give or take depending on how far North or South you are. Merry Christmas and have a happy and Healthy 2012!!! Danny. On Dec-24-11 at 18:53:00 PST, seller added the following information: I forgot to mention that I have the PHS documents!! On Dec-24-11 at 19:45:34 PST, seller added the following information: Please only bid if your serious about buying the car. Bidding is starting out good and if it keeps up reserve will be hit, But even if not hit be on top for first chance at buying the car. This car has an optional quick ration steering gear box and it has factory dual exhaust! The car can stay here a couple months if you need time to come get it as long as its paid for. Danny. On Dec-26-11 at 20:51:45 PST, seller added the following information: Here is a link to the PHS documents. https://picasaweb.google.com/104760557069491049081/101HPAIO?authkey=Gv1sRgCJv3hZ-C44nfPQ#5495373389408492738 On Dec-28-11 at 03:41:00 PST, seller added the following information: Clock is ticking on this auction. I am close to selling it for the top bid. So be on top to have first shot at the car even if it doesnt make reserve and if your top bidder and I dont send you a second chance offer, then call me and see if we can make a deal. Danny 405-620-2850.On Dec-30-11 at 17:44:57 PST, seller added the following information: The car does have a rear crossmember. It also has a clutch and pressure plate. Dont forget to mark your calender and set your alarm on your cell phone to watch the end of this auction. It goes off at approx Noon tomorrow (Sat. the 31st) central standard time. Be the top bidder to have first shot at the GTO! This car is still affordable and will no doubt go up in the future. Buy it and just park it in your garage or barn and it will make you money! There were only a handful made and now only a few out of the handful are left. In Just two short years this car will be 40 years old and for it being nearly 40 its tight!!! Like Ferris Bueller said, Life moves pretty fast, if you dont slow down and buy a 74 GTO you could miss it!!! Well I am not sure if he said anything about the GTO but it sounded good! HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE! Danny.
