I purchased this car on August 1st 2011 from the estate of Al Miller who has owned this car from the late 30's as this was his first car. Al was born in 1925 so by the time he was old enough to drive the model A's were good cheap transportation. Al and his sons took the car apart in 1981 and rebuilt all mechanical systems. They also bought a new top and a complete interior kit from Le Baron Bonney. Al drove the car at least once a week to the model A breakfast meeting in Renton right up to his 86th year. The paint started to look worn and faded but the mechanical parts were kept in top shape. After purchasing the car it was driven from Renton to Pacific, WA a distance of about 20 miles. The car ran like a top all the way. I drove the car for the rest of the summer and it was great fun and always reliable. When I bought the car I intended to build it into a hot rod but after driving it I feel it should be left original so I purchased a clapped out 1931 Chevrolet body that we are building and wish to pass this one on to someone who will love it for what it is.
