2000 Volkswagen Beetle Bug TDI Diesel. This vehicle gets 45 MPG!!! This 1.9L TDI has is loaded with leather interior, cruise, power windows, power locks, and an automatic transmission. Over $2000 worth of maintenance was just done to this little gem. The timing belt/tensioner, water pump, all belts, glow plugs and glow plug harness were all just replace with genuine VW parts. The car is in overall good condition with normal scratches for an 11 year old vehicle. The paint is faded a bit but still looks pretty good. The leather is in overall good condition with a couple of worn places on the driver seat; however, it isn't torn. The rest of the interior is in decent shape. The headliner was falling down so the previous owner stapled it up to keep it from hanging down. Also, the leather inserts on the doors need to be re glued( common problem on all of these cars). There are a couple of small plastic trim pieces missing. The lid to the center console doesn't latch, but it stays in place. There is an aftermarket radio and amp installed (for the speakers in the car - no sub). The tires are almost new with approximately 95% of the tread remaining. The oil was just changed with the VW recommended synthetic oil. The previous owner never did any major work to the transmission. Currently the vehicle still runs and drives well. Additionally, the windshield has two cracks in it. I am pricing this car to sell given the few mostly cosmetic flaws. These cars are great and are well known to go in excess of 350000 miles. This would be a great car for someone who loves diesels. I require a $500 paypal deposit to be made immediately after the auction. This deposit will be NON REFUNDABLE. The remaining balance will be due within 5 days. If payment is not received within this time frame you will forfeit your deposit and I will offer the car to the next bidder - NO EXCEPTIONS! Final payment is to be certified check, money order, or cash if you pick it up. Upon receipt of the funds, I will overnight the title to the winning bidder. I don't mind if you have the car shipped but it is up to you to arrange all of that. The car is also for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction at my discretion.
