1964 Volkswagen Bus     For your consideration, I have a very nice 1964 VW bus. This has been a longtime project and has had an almost full mechanical restoration. The motor is a new 1600 dual oil flow passage block with roughly 5000 miles since the engine was rebuilt.  The braking system has been fully rebuilt and every necessary part replaced. The trans is still its original gear reduction and is in perfect working order. The bus in other words is in great running and driving condition. I would not hesitate to drive this anywhere. The body on this bus is better than most as it has always been in the southwest to the best of my knowledge. As with all busses there is some rust, but its not to bad at all. The battery tray will need to be replaced. I have some spare sheet metal from another bus that I will include. There is some body putty throughout, but its not to bad and of course there is some dents and dings. I have spent all my money and time making this a running drivable bus. What it needs now is somebody to do the cosmetics as in paint and interior. Even the way it is with its old paint, it gets lots of attention. The only reason I am selling is because I need the money.
