1959 chevy kustom hot rod bagged sled This car was built aproximately 5 to 6 years ago by jeff jones at jones hot rods in chicago illinois a friend of mine purchased it from jeff and drove this car home 700 miles to syracuse ny without any issues. he owned the car for 2 years driving the crap out of it to many shows on the east coast sometimes even using it as a daily driver. he drove this car to sturbridge mass for the milltown ink show in 2010 and won best kustom with it . this car has made many magazine shoots even showing up in street rodder magazine. in 2010 he also won designers dozen at the syracuse nationals (top 12 out of over 7500 cars!). i purchased this car from him about a year and a half ago and have very much enjoyed it but im ready to move on to a 30s hotrod. i personally drove this car to rhinebeck ny for the goodguys show this year 600 miles round trip with no issues. body mods: 61 merc grill bumpers removed front and rear roll pans were fabbed killer louvered hood sits on full air ride suspension( control for each corner)car sits super low when dropped full white pleated interior the paint is a custom blended auqua metalic with white roof and white scallops which are loaded w dangerous blue heavy metalflake the dash is also painted and scalloped to match the exterior bman striping outlined the scallops and did some light striped on the car has the original 235 six cylinder w 3 on the tree(runs great) bellflower exhaust tips out back car is a great tribute to 60s show kustoms blast to drive and attention whore wherever it goes car is a driver and not perfect but one hell of a kool kustom car was appraised by insurance co in 2010 for $25900 im looking to get a bit more than half that for this car. well worth it and you cant even find a good stock 59 project for this price i reserve the right to end auction early as it is for sale locally and elsewhere any questions please call don 315-430-5134 will sell internationally and assist w shipping car is located in syracuse ny
