A Driveable Car Starting At .99 With NO RESERVE! 1996 Infiniti I30-5 Speed 3.0 V6Mechanically same as a Nissan Maxima!Newer model engine and transmission! Never Wrecked See Pictures Here I've sold a personal car here before-check feedback! About Car: For those that don't know, the Infiniti I30s are mechanical clones to the Nissan Maximas. The only difference is styling and some sound deadening as far as I know.I was told by a mechanic that was doing minor work on it that it had a newer model engine and transmission. I did not know this when I bought it. A newer model means that it has a 222 HP engine instead of the stock 190! Good:Newer engine/transmission...I believe to have 222 HP when tuned! (out of an early 2000s Maxima/I30 I believe)Working a/c and heat-a/c held charge this summer and is VERY simple to charge yourselfRARE 5 SpeedNissan's famous 3.0 V6 "VQ" engine-one of the best ever made! Made in JapanFun to drive-TONS of torque!HID headlights-only dim, though. I believe they're just a cheapo conversion kit. I have originals in trunk from previous owner; no idea on condition.AM/FM/CD PlayerNo shaking at any speed-VERY smooth car with great FWD handling!Tinted windows-within legal limits.Car security alarmVery Consistent 23 MPG Average CombinedRuns Quietly Current Problems:Sometimes, there's some hesitation while accelerating. Nothing dangerous...just annoying. Previous owner said the EGR valve needed cleaning. I believe it's that or some other similar problem...never looked into it. Check engine light is on. Autozone said it was a knock sensor and some oxygen sensors. Doesn't affect MPG.Hard to start when cold...it always starts, but you've got to pump the gas to rev it when it's cold (it can take considerable effort) I believe it's a sensor, possibly the knock sensor seen above. It starts fine when warm and always runs fine once started. In summary of above, it basically needs a good tuneup.Obviously, the back left door is black. The previous owner claimed a rock went through the windshield and it was significantly cheaper to just buy a $40 junk yard door.Front struts need replacing...makes creaking noise when turning. You can live with it if needed, though.2 Tires are pretty low on tread. Not bald, but low. One has a slow leak.Only one Bose speaker works, a very common problem with Bose.Cassette player has cassette stuck.Car antenna is broken off...still picks up as good as most cars of that era.Back right power window/locks don't work. All others do perfectly.Back right seat belt is disconnected.Interior/exterior condition-the pictures can describe it better than I can. The black doorFront left fender's clear coat is pealing. It's not bad anywhere else.Needs shampooing/detailing, but is not really nasty like some cars. No bad interior smells. It had a bad oil leak problem that has been fixed. However, occasionally it'll still smell like burning oil due to oil residue left on it. Hydraulics on hood don't work. The Infiniti comes with a complementary stake that works perfectly.Rear right seat belt is unattached. After reading this and examining pictures, feel free to ask many any questions! You have 10 days to pick it up and pay with cash after auction is over! On Dec-15-11 at 21:46:51 PST, seller added the following information: Photobucket changed their format for the worse...See a slideshow of larger pictures here:http://m1208.photobucket.com/slideshow/heathgarner10/1996%20Infiniti%20I30On Dec-16-11 at 21:45:53 PST, seller added the following information: All Zero Feedback Bidders Will Be Blocked. On Dec-17-11 at 12:04:27 PST, seller added the following information: Mileage is UNKNOWN!!! The odometer works, but it has either been rolled back or (most likely) replaced when the engine/transmission was replaced from the donor car. I estimate the body to have 250k-280k miles on it, from what I can tell from the Autocheck. IT ALSO HAS $160 WORTH OF NEW FRONT TIRES WITH ONLY A COUPLE THOUSAND MILES PUT ON THEM!On Dec-21-11 at 20:32:54 PST, seller added the following information: Car will need a battery. The battery does not hold a charge for more than a day or two (if that) after being charged at Autozone, whether it's hooked up or not.
