Vehicle Detail
Here's a rare Fiero! Blue factory color with factory whale tail. There were 246,581 Fiero's made in 87, this is the 245,405 made, in other words, almost last of it's kind! Power windows, locks, trunk, mirrors. Cd player with 7 band graphic equalizer, sub woofer, amplifier. Oil/volt gauges. Door and dash map pockets. Didn't come like that, I installed them all. All factory parts. Interior isn't bad, short shift, instead of that tall thing Pontiac had on there, common warpage on the thing, just couldn't fix them and gave up. Seats are not torn, passenger side showing wear. Carpet good, had floor mats, till I worn them out. Dash is cracking, even when covered it still cracked. Had it painted 5 yrs. ago, has it's chips and webs in the glass, but, still looks great. Engine doesn't leak, tap, or use oil. Clutch done about 90,000 miles. Cv joints, rear drilled/slotted disks, master/slave for the clutch, all done last year. Max life oil since they came out with it. This is a reliable Tech 4, had the car for 12 yrs. and worst thing to happen was the clutch and the plastic timing gears. It is my date ride and not my winter ride. Always covered or garage in the winter. It's a 24 yr old car with 173,000 miles on it, so you can tell how it was driven since I've owned it. Shocks, ball joints are new. Struts about 6 yrs, ago. Air just went out on me in May, had it sitting in storage in Ky. Never gave me any trouble since I had it converted years ago, and it just went out. Blew cold up till then. Okay that's the good and there's a lot more you just have to ask questions, now the bad, if that's what you want to call it! Tires are worn, was going to do them, but, I will let new owner choose the ones they want, the tach hasn't worked in the past 3yrs, changed it out and still didn't work, might be in the computer, just gave up on it. The passenger front might need control arm bushings, had it aligned and they didn't say anything, but, it has worn that tire, I thought it was the ball joint cause they were bad, but, after the work, it still was the same, so, I think it might be bushings. Nice weekend project. Cheap also. It has it's chips in the paint, the ones on the roof, I can't figure what is happening there. The sail panels aren't the greatest, I've seen worse. The wheels aren't bad, but, not show. Little work to pretty them up! This car has been"My Baby" for 12 yrs. Most reliable I have ever had. Fun to drive and handles like I can't believe, you can feel the road in this car. It isn't show, but, it's not JUNK! It has things on it that were only available on the GT's, nothing rigged on here either, every part was plug and play. This will make a wonderful car to put money into to make it show or just drive in the city for daily usage. I hate to sell it, but, I don't want it sitting around in the garage or covered up outside. This part of the world is not for this kind of car. It's a City Girl not a Country Girl! Don't think it's like the Fiero's you have been looking at. It's Rare, well maintained and taken very good care of over the years. You can buy it now and drive it home with no trouble, while getting great gas mileage. Don't want to sell it, but, it would be "Evil" to have "My Baby" sitting around and growing old! If you have questions you can contact me by text at 270.320.3903.
