1979 MGB Garage FindI do not know much about this vehicle. I purchased it about two months ago but due to a current life changing situation, I am no longer in need of it. She is cold blooded, of course, but let her warm up for a minute and she will be just fine. Here is what I do know:Good: All four tires are in good condition with plenty of treadGreat spare tire in the trunk30ish MPGNew "bisque" coloured soft top done last monthConvertible hardware works quite wellExterior is probably a 6 out of 10Interior is probably a 7 out of 10Haynes manual includedMost lights workTrim is in good conditionrear luggage rack is in good conditionreaches 70 mph on the interstateShifts quite wellnew windshield wipers (all three of them)new fuel filter, oil, oil filter, air filter, spark plugs, distributor cap, roter, and battery Bad:runs rich, carb could use some workbody is beginning to rust and has a couple paint crackswindshield has a chip on the passenger sidetail light and front marker lights are out (something in the wiring)radio does not workonly ignition key, no door lock or trunk keysdriver seat has a tearwindow handle knob broke, but still work just finedriver's side door wing frame intact but needs repairedwiper switch works, but could be replacedspeedometer says 42,708, but could be flipped???? I have tried to be as honest as possible with this vehicle. I have driven her from home to work for two months and she has done me well. I have taken her on the interstate for a 60ish mile round trip and she again did quite well. I do believe this vehicle could be driven from here (Springfield, IL) to Chicago or even further, HOWEVER, I cannot warranty that, of course. The title is clear and I will provide a bill of sale.
