****** ESTATE SALE ****** From a southern California ESTATE ......... We are selling a 2005 HONDA crf 450 and this Bike is in very nice condition. Only used for trail riding 5 or 6 times a year by a Senior rider and never raced ......... plus it has always been maintained by a professional mechanic. It is ready to go riding TODAY! ........... you would only need to add fuel. Honda first introduced the CRF 450 in 2002 ...... and most experts agree that 2005 was the year they finally got it right! .......... While the 2004 model got rave reviews ....... it was the 2005 model that blew away the competition. In comparison the 2004 actually felt fat and clumsy. After spending 3 years developing and tweaking the frame of the crf 450 ....... HONDA threw the old frame away and completely re-worked this frame for 2005. The Aluminum frame on this 2005 much more resembled the 250cc frame because it is so slim and graceful. DIRT RIDER Magazine called it a piece of performance art. It now had more than enough power ...... and the moves to go around any of the 250s ......... even on shorter tracks. The bike feels lighter even though Honda claimed only 3-1/2 pounds less weight and most of the lighter feeling was due to it being so slim. The adjustable suspension will work for riders of any size or skill and this bike remains close to state of the art today. With 12.4 inches of travel up front and 17 position rebound-damping adjustability and a Pro-Single Showa single shock in the rear with 17 position adjustability you will marvel at how well this HONDA handles. The motor in this 2005 is stock but with 12.0:1 compression and a 5 speed gearbox you will not be lacking in power .......... and some upgrades have been added including new front brake rotor, new bars, triple clamps and GPR steering stabilizer, new chain, plus a Yoshimura full titanium and carbon fiber exhaust system (about $700.00) ............ all the plastic is in great shape without any cracks or repairs and the seat is in good shape without any rips, tears or repairs. The tires are at 50 to 60% and someone will make a great buy on this HONDA ....................... (Why not You?) ............ You can find a CRF 450 of this Vintage a bit cheaper ........... but you will most likely be buying a project ......... this HONDA crf 450 is ready to be put in the truck and your ready to go riding. Just serviced with fresh oil and filter. eBay requires that we enter the mileage for this Bike ........ and 1000 miles is a bit of a guess but when you see the Bike it is clear that it has not been ridden much as the condition is too good.
