1997 GMC Sierra 3500 4x4 6.5L diesel dually long bed Leather Interior is good shape for old truck. Power seats Power windows Power locks Tilt 5th wheel hitch included I bought this truck 4 years ago as a project truck and have made excellent progress in upgrading it. However, is time to move on to the next project. Here is a list of what has been upgraded and what I'd do next on the truck: Heath Diesel GL4 Heath Diesel water pump and fan Heath fuel pump AT Turbo Auto meter gauges (boost and EGT hooked up and working, trans gauge installed not hooked up, have sensor and hardware). Warp Speed Crossover Amsoil filtration and bypass and Lubrication Specialist oil cooler. Less than a year old; alternator, belt tensioner, and rear brakes. New wheel bearings and races in rear hubs (Timken bearings and race) AC compressor change 1 year ago. The louver in blower housing needs repaired. Air blows partially through floor vents and front vents. AC blower motor is less than a year old. Paint is in fair condition (chipping on roof, hood, door) and only surface rust, no holes or bubbles. On the rear wheel tubes a previous owner repaired it with fiber glass and bondo. Comes with hitch and goose neck ball. The plate for the ball hitch needs new bolts (threads are stripped with no nuts). The electric tow brake controller needs replaced and wiring checked. I welded several places in the bed and added several pieces of square tubing to make it rigid. It has a good coat of Herculiner but could use another. Here is my to-do list on what needs to be done to make the truck that much more reliable: Needs alignment and eventually tires Leaks oil at rear main and CDR Must be plugged in for cold starting (has Duraterm glow plugs) This truck has a clear title, no lien.
