This is a "NO RESERVE" auction for a 1972 Dodge Challenger, 1st let me tell you what this car is 'NOT'. It is not a rare #'s matching, high optioned, low production #'s, Hemi/TA/SixPack/Clone/Tribute, or Show Car, If that is what you are looking for, and you have $30K+100K , then this car is not what you are looking for, but if you are looking for a"very quick & fast, street legal, pump gas friendly, nasty sounding, track tested", Challenger, that was constructed for 2 purposes, fun to drive on the street, and able to drive to the local drag strips, where it consistantly runs 11's @ 1/4mi. and put the Hemi/BigBlock6Pack cars that run 12's&13's on their trailers, with a SB Mopar, and then drive back home! So If you want a nasty street warrior, that can get the edrinaline pumping at the track, here's your chance! "NO RESERVE", auction with a very reasonable starting price. I have 11 other Hot Rods, running out of garage/shop space, I've already sold 5 other cars, this Challenger was not my first choice to go, but I came down with the "need for more speed", I put a Vortech Supercharger, w/NOS on this Challenger and took it to the drag strip. To make a long story short, I was ask to leave and not come back until the car had a rollcage installed,to match how fast the car was, it has a nice stock interior and I couldn't see altering it for the rollcage. So I took them back off so I could continue to race the car, If the winning bidder wants the Vortech Superchager and/or NOS systems, I will sell them for $1500.00 I'm in them for almost 3 times that, just unreal power on tap,under that right shoe, anytime you want! I also have a complete 4spd conversion setup w/pistol grip linkage, if anyone is interested for $1200.00. The car looks good for a street car, but if one wanted to take it to car shows, I would have it repainted, as it has some chips & scratches that a street car always seem to have. It has a race glass lift-off hood that has some cracks that fiberglass always have, the interior is in great shape with one exception, it has two cracks on dash pad which is what they do, but as I said the car looks good, but it is not a show car, I'm not asking show car price. As for type of payment, I will accept just about any, but car and title stays with me until funds clear, $1000.00 deposit due at end of auction, transaction completed within 5-7 days. As for shipping, auction winner is responsible, I will work with your shipper and hold your car for a reasonable amount of time.
