This 2005 Volvo XC90 T6 AWD is Just Beautiful! Wow! This Volvo recently traded in on the purchase of a new car. This is a Local trade native to VA with a Clear & Clear 2 Owner Title and Car Fax! Overall, this Beautiful Station Wagon is in Excellent Condition! It has obviously been well maintained, and from the service records found in the glove box, no expense spared! Loaded up with tons of upgrades. This wagon does not feel or drive like it should with the age and miles……it is WAY BETTER!!!!! With almost 12 years of being in the auto industry, this car is one of the few in a long time that get me excited. I really enjoy, love driving this car. The thought of having to drive something else is really upsetting. However, that is what I do for a living so I hope someone else will purchase and love this Volvo the way I do. This is one of the best driving cars I have ever been lucky enough to drive. It is so smooth that you never feel any shift pattern, not even with passing others, the brakes are strong without being too touchy, and the engine is strong. This is just nothing negative I can say about this beautiful SUV! Service History: This Volvo XC90 comes with pages of dealer service history. The previous owners spared no expense with this Volvo, and as the gentleman at the dealership’s service department told me today, the previous owners were in there right regular and have all important services done. As he affirmed, the big 37,500 and 75,000 services were done. As a matter of fact, everything from brakes to tires were always done at the dealer. Allow us to address the questions we know are going to be asked. Transmission: The Transmission on the Volvo Checks out Great! The dealership did a $1,200 resealing of the all wheel drive chain system at 98k miles so you can buy this XC90 with confidence that the transmission is good to go! There are thousands and thousands of dollars of service records available for this Volvo, too many to count. Timing Service: The timing service is not recommended until 120k miles. If the winner pays the buy it now price of $9,990 we will have our repair shop perform the timing service. Otherwise, a high bidder who wins for less than that amount can wait another 10k miles when it is actually due. First Impression: At first glance, this Volvo SUV is a looker! It does not show the wear that a 2005 normally would. Interior: Like any Volvo, you will find this one comes with all the Luxury Upgrades and Comfort Features disconcerting buyers look for in a high end item. Leather Upholstery, All Power Feathers, Sunroof, Heated Seats, Versatile Seating/Storage Configurations, Digital Climate Control, Wood Grain Interior Trim, Homelink, Automatic Headlights, Cruise Control and so Much More!The Interior of this 2005 Volvo XC90 is Amazing! It has so many Options, Upgrades, and Simply Well Thought Out and Useful Options that it will be difficult for me to list them all; but allow me to try. The Interior of this XC90 is a Lovely Combination of Light Taupe/Beige Color with Tasteful Wood Grain Accents. The seats are upholstered in Light Tan. Beige Leather. The Leather is still Soft and Smooth. There is wood grain accents on this inside of this car that sets off the dash, doors, and center console. The carpeting is a matching light tan color. The steering wheel is leather and smooth and comfortable. The gear shifter is also leather. The dash is a combination of coordinating tan and graphite gray. The interior is in what I would consider Much Above Average to Excellent Condition! The inside of this Sport Utility seats 7 passengers. You will find Front Individual Captain Seats, A Second Row Bench and To Individual Fold Into the Floor Third Row Seats. The Front Seats are Dual Power and Dual Heated. On the lower side of each front seat are controls for the fully power functions, including recline, tilt, cushion up and down, and front and back. On the front dash are the controls for the Front Heated Seats. The heat seat options feature high or low for custom temperature. The Second Row Seating will accommodate 3 passengers. This seat is divided into three separate sections for rider comfort and/or more deliberate cargo capacity. The Middle of the Second Row features an Integrated Child Booster Seat - A must have in any family vehicle. Bthh outside sections of the second row flip forward independently and even slide forward and backward independently. The Third Row Seating Features the Factory Upgraded Fold Into the Floor Seats. It is awesome enough that this SUV has a third row, but this fold away upgrade is so much better than a traditional fixed third row. The lower cushion will fold back into the floor board and the rear seatback will flip down. Each rear seat will fold separately. You use a single handle to recess and flip these rear seats so you can do it literally, one handed. Power Upgrades In This Volvo Wagon Seem Endless! There is a Fully Power Sunroof with Retractable Sun Shade. You can open the Glass entirely to let the Sun and Breeze Flow In, You Can Vent The Sunroof For A Little Air Flow, Or You Can Just Slide the Shade Back To Let The Sun Shine In! This Sunroof is controlled by a switch conveniently located overhead near the front reading lights. The roof is also tinted for comfort. Power Options Also Include a Dual Zone Climate Control System. Independently, Front Passengers Can Control and Set Their Temperature Controls. You Can Set the Climate Control to a Specific Temperature, or you can manually over ride this and set the fan and temperature manually! In the years of selling cars and thus being in and out of them daily, I have found that the overall ease of use of the climate control systems has a huge impact on how enjoyable they are to drive. This climate control is very easy and intuitive to use. With a quick glance, driver or passenger can easily adjust the cabin temperature. There are 3, yes 3 AC Power sources in this Volvo. First in the front dash. There is the first ac power source in the center dash. The second power source is located on the back of the center console. That makes this power source accessible for rear seat passengers. The Third power plug is in the rear cargo area. There are All Power Convenience Features Such As Power Windows with 1 touch auto. There are also child lock protection for all passenger windows. Power Features Continue with Dual Heated and Power Front Seats. The seats are 6 way power adjustable with controls on the side of each seat and 3 memory settings. Each of the seats are also heated with 2 settings. The Driver's Seat has 3 Pre Set Memory Settings. These settings remember and automatically set the Door Mirrors and the seat positions. There are an owner’s manual, owner’s manual supplement, and warranty/service records information books included with this Volvo. There are 2 Keys, one with integrated fob and one without. This Key ejects from the Fob with a button and the Fob will Lock and Un Lock All Doors Plus Pop Open the rear Hatch. There are also a yellow and red button on the Fob that I have not tested but assume are for emergency alert. The one thing I notice about this style car is that you have to hold the button for a full second for the Fob to work. I really appreciate this feature as it helps reduce accidentally locking/unlocking your car. Drive with Comfort and Ease with an Automatic Transmission. This AWD, 7 Passenger SUV is super easy and comfortable to drive and ride in. The automatic transmission teams with a 6 Cylinder Turbo Engine for a car that is fun and comfortable. The engine provides enough power that this vehicle never wants for power. Driver’s Comfort Continues with Speed Control aka Cruise Control. Take comfort to the next level and cruise down the highway with ease and without the worry of a speeding ticket. I will admit that it is easy to speed in this car. Highway speeds and then some are no problem for this SUV so be careful (just my own little tip). Home link allows you to program up to 3 Garage Doors. Open and Close your garage doors with the ease of an integrated button. Getting home or heading out become easy tasks and Homelink encourages you to part this Beautiful SUV where it belongs, in the garage! The Homelink Buttons are on the driver visor. I really like this location because it is more discrete and almost impossible to see from outside the vehicle. Power Controls continue with the Exterior Side View Mirrors which are power adjustable. The guage panel in this 2005 Volvo XC90 has your standard gauges and is digital as well. The on-board computer display is here too. On the lower left corner of the instrument panel is a display that will show items such as DTE (Distance To Empty), MPG (Miles Per Gallon), and probably a few more I am forgetting. When you first start this car up it says that routine maintenance is due but it is not. The shop just forgot to reset it and I have not had the opportunity to take it in for reset. On the front instrument panel there is also a clock and outside Temperature display. This many sound silly, but I find this front facing clock to be such a nice benefit. I never have to distract my attention to the radio on the right, I can just simply glance down more quickly to see the time. This is certainly a feature I would not realize the value in until I drove a car without it after having driven this Volvo. Storage: This Volvo is Loaded with Storage Options. Both General Space realized from the Practical SUV Design Combines with Innovative Design Features to add in more Subtle Yet Practical storage options. First, An SUV Adds Space. The additional space from the practical design of the spacious rear allows for more items, larger items, and taller items inside the rear cargo area. The rear Bench Seat offers several surprises. The center section in the second row rear bench seat pops up to create a child booster seat. This is a great extra that eliminates the need for an extra booster seat, keeps any booster seat from damaging the leather interior, and takes up a lot less space. This rear bench seat is split into 3 sections. Each outer side section will flip down in two to make passenger entry into the 3rd row easier and/or to accommodate larger items. Each of the three sections of the second row bench has a forward/backward adjustment for the seat position. A traditional front bar at the lower base of each section will allow you to slid that section forward or backward. One of the best things about this Volvo is the 3rd Row Seating. There are two very comfortable, high back, contoured captain style seats in the 3rd row. These are hands down the most sophisticated, and well thought out 3rd row seats I have ever ridden in. These seats are clearly thought out and intentional. These rear seats are also separate and flip/fold/recess independently. This is a very unique feature. This way you can actually have a passenger in the 3rd row and comfortable have items next to them but not actually sharing a seat. This third row is also the most uniquely easy to move and configure of any, yes any, third row I have ever used. These seats are light, easy to move, and positions can easily be changed using just one hand operations. The lower seat cushion recess into the floor board and the seats flip down flat. The headrests flip automatically and never have to be removed. This is similar to what other manufactures call a magic seat, but so much better. There are side storage cubbies and cup holders on each side of the 3rd row seats. More subtle storage is through out this Volvo! The XC is full of storage surprises. My favorite are in the passenger door pockets. All four doors have storage pockets, the front doors even have molded areas perfect for extra drinks. The Front Glove box is lighted and lockable and houses the owner's manual. There are also storage net pockets on the rear of each front seat for stashing more items. Interior storage continues in the rear cargo area. Even with the 3rd row seats up, there is a lot of space behind the rear seats. This area will easily hold a cooler, luggage, grocery bags, you name it. I continue to be shocked at just how much stuff fits behind the 3rd row seats! The rear hatch opens as two pieces. There is a sections that opens up and then a smaller section that creates a small edge. I really like this. As a short woman, being able to easily put items in and out of this Volvo, even with the small door closed, has made life so much easier. There is a third AC power source in the rear cargo area Large item storage rounds out with the exterior roof rails. These rails allows items to be strapped and carried on the roof of the car. Overall the Interior of this 2002 Volvo V70 is fully loaded. There is some average wear on the seating surfaces and carpets, however no more than what I would expect for this year and mileage. Upon closer inspection you may find something else very minor, but not significant. All of the power features work exactly as they are supposed to. The Rear view mirror is auto dimming for easy driving at night. Exterior: The exterior of this 2005 Volvo XC90 SUV is just very nice. So you are looking at an Exterior in Very Good Condition. Proud to Drive, Sporty SUV! The Crystal Green Metallic Exterior with the Black accents looks classy. I find myself noticing other XC90s as I am out and about and have to comment that this color just looks sharp! I find myself comparing this XC90 to others and have not found a single color that I think looks better than this Crystal Green Metallic. Bright and Shiny without being Boring. Classy and Sophisticated while still suiting the overall look of an SUV, this color is beautiful. I watched it pull off our dealership lot the other day and just had to comment out loud on what a looking this Volvo is. The lines are sporty and sharp, and the combination of factory and aftermarket options set this ride off! The car fax is clean and clear on this car, so there is no reason to think this Volvo has ever been in an accident. Especially since it has been dealer serviced since new, the clean CarFax is believable. The sharp appeal continues on the 16" Alloy Wheels. These wheels look really good, they are upgraded for the XC package. This Volvo is riding on a set of Great Condition, Dealer Installed, Nitrogen Filled Tires. The tires are size 235/65/17. The tires have about 10k miles ago, so these tires are good for many thousands of miles to go. This is a cool looking SUV. Large and Practical without being bulky, this is a modern update on the SUV. There are strong fender flares and body moldings that look great. The bumpers are black like the lower body moldings. Subtle Chrome colored accents dress up the front grill with the iconic Volvo emblem. There is also a license plate bracket too. With the rear design of this Volvo, it looks just as good going as it does coming! The hatch lifts up in one large piece for easy loading and unloading. The brake lights go all the way up the back hatch. There is a rear wiper with washer and controls inside the cabin. The bumper is black. The badging back here is VOLVO, XC90 AWD. Overall, the Exterior of this 2005 Volvo is in better shape than I would expect. It has obviously been very well maintained and cared for and most likely garage kept. I would consider the condition to be in Good . I say this because of some typical wear. There is a little wear on the plastic bumpers (more on the rear), a couple small scuffs on the rear corner passenger side and probably a little door ding somewhere. There are a couple small scrapes on the driver’s door, look like probably from a dog paw . Overall, consistent with the age, mileage, and price. I can't think of anyone that would not like driving and being seen in this VOLVO!! Under The Hood: This XC90 comes with the super powerful and fun to drive 268 Horsepower, 2.9 Liter I-6 Engine. This engine teams with a 4 Speed Automatic Transmission with Overdrive and Auto Manual for a beautifully driving SUV. The 178 cubic inch engine runs and operates as it should, producing 268 Horsepower at 5,100 rpm and 280 Lbs Ft of Torque at 1,800 rpm. The Dual Overhead Cam Engine has an epa estimate of 15-20 Miles per Gallon. However, I am finding the on board computer to be calculating estimates closer to 18-22 miles per gallon. I have driven this car on several road trips and never get less than 21 mpg overall and usually about 22 on the highway. Driving Impressions: I have been driving this car for about a month and about 1,000 miles and I love it! The driving impressions of this Volvo are much like the First Impressions, WOW! I cannot believe how smooth this car drives. It is one of the smoothest driving cars I have ever had the honor of driving. The Engine is strong and smooth, this suv never wants for power. The transmission shifts smoothly and like new. The brakes are all firm with no pulsating, the alignment is straight and true. This car drives just great, I cannot say anything negative about how this car drives. I would have no problem driving this car myself or selling this car to anyone of my friends or family.
