On June 21, 1977, my father who worked as a mechanic for Western Airlines bought the car of his dreams—a new 1977 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Brougham Coupe. This vehicle’s exterior is emerald green metallic with a white Landau top; its interior is green cloth. It had the latest innovations: 350 rocket 4 bl engine, automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, and AM/FM.
My father was obsessive when it came to this vehicle; he rarely drove it and was always garaged. This cutlass has only 24,908 original miles; it also has the original BF Goodrich tires. In the car’s trunk, one will find the original Space Saver Spare Tire. When looking in the glove compartment, I discovered the ten day permit that was issued when my father purchased the vehicle. Also, I discovered the original Cutlass and Vista Cruiser 1977 Owner’s Manual.
