Vehicle Detail

1962 Ford Galaxie 500. Not sure if an XL. Race car, drag car, hot rod, street rod, custom, original. Car is mostly original and very solid. Engine is a mild build 460 big block (heads are D3VE-A2A), a C6 transmission with a shift kit, 9" rear end. Wiend aluminum intake and Edelbrock carb, electric fuel pump. Steel hood with a teardrop scoop attached. Car is very solid, no rust. Sun faded paint. All glass is good. Several aftermarket gauges and Auto-gauge Sport Comp tach with shift light. Stock fuel gauge works. Chrome ladder bars. New 205/75R14 tires (4) on steel wheels. I have the stock hubcaps, the rear moldings and the gas tank door molding. Brakes are drum all around. Aftermarket B&M ratchet shifter on floor. Interior is decent, just old. Lights work, the car is titled, registered and drives. Bumpers are solid and chrome is decent. Car is sold as-is, no warranty. Can be driven. Bill at 480-383-9247 for questions. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. I will assist in loading. Not sure if an XL (an eBayer advised car is not an XL). Engine now has chrome valve covers because old ones were cracked and leaking. Chrome air cleaner lid. Steel hood with a fiberglass teardrop scoop attached. Stock steering was power steering. Someone removed the power steering components. I did find a manual steering box in great shape to replace the existing one. Interior is decent, just old. Lights work, the car is titled, registered and drives. Old school racing seat belt for driver. Trunk is very solid and carpeted. Bumpers are solid and chrome is decent. Car is sold as-is, no warranty. Can be driven. Bill at 480-383-9247 for questions. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. I will assist in loading. Added pictures of the valve covers and the rear 500 moldings with gas tank cover.
