One of the nicest and most solid antique '50's car's you will ever run across.The 1958 Edsel made a huge impact on design and innovation when it hit the scene that year.I think probably one of the most beautiful and bizarre front -end styling ever.I personally have owned 3 of these 2-door hardtop's.Only the '58 Ranger and Pacer have the flowing roof-line in the 2-dr. htp.The 4-door's don't do anything for me at all.No rust ever on this car or bondo.Prior owner rebuilt the V-8 (361 c.u.) motor and trans. as well as the gas tank, radiator water pump, and brakes.Dual exhaust.The interior looks as though it was rarely used.Not much to do to this one now.The two-tone paint (Charcoal brown metallic and Jonquil yellow) is correct as well as the interior.The yellow paint (Roof and cove area ) shine nicely while the main brown has faded some.Push-button shift in center of steering wheel seems to be in working order but is unhooked at trans.lever.I have put a floor shift in my other one's just to be safe.Holley 4-bbl.Motor sounds great and drives well (I have driven it).Wide whitewalls and correct "E" cap's.My only reason for selling is to buy a more scarce '58 Edsel Bermuda Woody wagon for far more than this one.I only wish it were in as good as condition as this 2-door.I sold my last hardtop for more than I'm asking here, and it did not even compare to this one.----You may call anytime here in Kansas City area.----(913) TWO-ZERO-EIGHT--5844On Dec-06-11 at 16:45:25 PST, seller added the following information: Edsel UPDATE- December 6,2011: Today I am posting current photo's of the Ranger that show the wide white's and hubcaps.Also I was asked to list the data plate information, so here it is:BODY- 63A COLOR-MQQ TRIM-K DATE-16H TRANS-4 AXLE-A These I have checked out back when I got it and the car is correct.Louisville, Kentucky plant of manufacture.On Dec-06-11 at 16:49:50 PST, seller added the following information: Forgot that someone wanted the VIN # W8UG706022
