Offering tonight,My Very Clean 1998 FORD Explorer Eddie Bauer edition 4 door 2 wheel drive SUV. Truck runs great,starts every time,Gets between 15 and 17 MPG.I have Never revved or driven with tach above 2500 RPM's,And Don't Beat on it or race it. Although it is what many would consider "High mileage" 197K,If Loved as I have,No reason you should not see 250-300K.Never wrecked,Never towed.NJ inspection until 10/2013. I am 3rd owner,having owned it for almost 5 years.I am mechanic by profession,and Know this truck inside and out,Oil changed EVERY 3k mikes,if not sooner {throughout trucks entire life,by myself,and previous owners}Has Newer Stainless Dynomax exhaust system,Nice sound,but not too loud.Newer Firestone wilderness all terrain tires,Including Brand new spare,and another brand new unmounted wilderness.New brakes front and rear with new front rotors and wheel bearings,Newer shocks front and rear,I did intake gaskets and new manifold last year,as this is problem area on these trucks after a few years. Newer o2 sensors,recent tune up,New battery 08/11.Newer outer drivers door handle {another common problem} Has power windows and door locks,all working properly,Keyless entry with remote and keypad.AM/FM/cassette cd radio with 6 disc changer in console.I sent radio out 2 years ago to fix display problem,{another issue with these trucks} and it should last at least as long as truck. I upgraded Mach system subwoofer in rear with sony speaker,which fits as stock,and sounds GREAT! Oil change due in about 1.000 miles. The Exterior is very nice,shiny and clean,no paint flaking as I have seen on many.Some small dents and dings overall,and acid rain spots on hood.Has Bug shield on hood.Windshield is excellent.Truck is emerald green and beige in color. Eddie Bauer edition Interior is tan leather,in good condition,showing some wear and stains.Power drivers seat works as it should,Shows some wear.Armrest on center console worn/torn.Heat and ac good,although ac requires charging every 2 years.Repaired damaged heat blend door {you guessed it,another common issue}Has information center in console that tells MPG,System status check and more. Basically,Truck is ready to go,and needs NOTHING,I am selling,as my job transferred me several miles away,and I purchased diesel pickup for commute.
