Here's the deal. I just sold a 450 Scrambler and the shipper will pick up within they say a mo. I would like to have them pick this up as well and perhaps save a little on shipping which was quoted as 550.00 for the 450 from Wa. to Ok. So for this I am going to offer, as I have in the past this motorcycle for sale in advance for a savings to the buyer of up to around 1 K of what it might be when finished. It is registered and licenced in my name here in Wa. Also this gives you the advantage of being in with the restoration as YOU might like it. I do not have a front fender or chain guard for this bike and some of the parts such as the cylenders and pistons will be 305 as well as the rear chrome fender. I do have the cylenders and pistons for the 250 if you would rather but, the 305 performed a lot better. The frame and engine both will be CL72 unless YOU want the CL77 Engine complete installed. This will never be a true collectors bike worth the 5-8 some are trying to get on line here but will be a good running, good looking blast from the past that will gain a lot of attention and pride. If you owned these as I did in the 60's you know the attraction that cannot be duplicated by even an 80" Harley. I've include a couple of pics of some of the bikes I've built in the past in the winter mos. along with some of this bike in progress. What I am selling is this bike completed with a few weeks in time to ship with the other for a deposit now of 1000.00. The total completed will be 2500.00 unless otherwise agreed upon. The ballance will be due within 5 working days of completion. Again, this may be from one week to 3 weeks from now. So this gives some of you a chance to work something out, pick a color that you might like if not the silver and black, and be a part of its building. Pictures will be supplied as progress takes place. Ignore the full payment instructions a box had to be checked. Also will work a similar deal on the CA or Dream shown behind this one. The Dream is not registered, and will be considerably cheeper, running well, all systems working but around a 6 on the 1-10 scale. The quality of this bike being sold here will be around a 7...(a 10 would be brand new and now worth 20 or so K. a 9 would be a very nice bike sold here for around 6-7. an 8 would be a bike 4500-5500, so this 7 would be around 3-3500. The chrome and there's going to be a lot unless you specify differently is in at least 8 condition and that counts the old rims as well surprizingly enough.
