1969 911T I bought this car in 2008 for $16,995 from a gentleman in San Francisco area. I can show you the papers relating to the previous purchase. Originally I was going to fix it up but didn’t have time for it. Car is pretty much the same condition as I bought it. Original California Coupe, original 2.0 motor and 901 transmission rebuilt by previous owner. Carrera tensioners added, MSD ignition, Dual Webber carburetor rebuilt at the same time transmission was rebuilt. Weltmiester adjustable suspension, SC brakes.. I put new front tires and new batteries. Car runs fine and engine is very strong. As an old sports car, it has its share of issues, but all minor, including missing driver side inside door knob, missing battery straps, brake lights and turn signal not working, rear strut squeaks a little and a little bit of oil leak. Fog lights missing. This car has no sunroof and no radio. I’m selling this car as is. No warranty. Serious consideration only. Following are the questions and answers that I gave. If you have another questions, please let me know. I will answer as best as I can. 1. Does the car leak a lot of oil or just few drops?: Just a few drops but the amount varies time to time. 2. Wow, sounds like you really did not drive much since still needs inside driver side handle.. : I know. The birth of my daughter changed all my plans with this car. 3. What is the mileage on the odometer? : It is 22670. I don’t know the original mileage. 4. All gauges are working?: Fuel gauge works only when engine is warm. Clock doesn't work. Other gauges work. 5. What type of tires did you put on the car recently?: Front tires: Dunlop Direzza 195/50R16. These tires are new. Rear tires: I didn't change. A lot of threads left but rear tires are very old. 6. No rips seats, cracks on seats, dash, headliner?: Seats and dash are free of cracks or rips. Headliners are not in the best condition but it's OK. 7. All glass;front/rear windscreen, side glass and front headlamps and other lights are free of cracks. 8. Is there a metal plate on the inside door jamb area, if so, can you tell me what it says?: It says 6852-L. It is kind of scratched. So, kind of hard to read. Black is not the original color. I do not know the original color. 9. Steering wheel shakes a little between 58MPH to 62MPH. Under this speed range or over, it is okay. Suggest the buyer to do the alignment. 10. I also suggest the buyer let a good mechanic adjust the carburetor. Thank you for your inquiry.
