You are bidding on a 1978 Lincol Mark V Continental with 34505 original miles. I have all the original paperwork and a copy of each title transfer from each buyer. Runs great just had belts changed recently. Mechanic said it can probably use a tune-up and usual maintence such as flushing coolant, filters... It was stored in a barn from 1992-2010 my uncle bought from the father of a soldier that was killed in Iraq during the first Gulf war. Now my Aunt says he has too many cars and wants her space in the garage back. The car has the V-8 460ci 7.5 liter option that was available as an upgrade in 1978 and the last year that motor was offered. The body is in good shape it has a few rust spots which is expected for a 34 year old car. The chrome is clean and it appears that the only body work I can see that was done is on the trunk. The vinyl half top needs to be replaced "probably the worst part of the car" the interior is in great shape too the drivers seat has some stress marks in the leather and there is a wear mark in the drivers side carpeting. There is a sunroof that works perfect. It has a aftermarket radio that works. This vehicle has all the bells & whistles that was offerd for any car in 1978 and everything works except for the drivers door power lock which sounds like the actuator is making noise but may need to be cleaned up because of not being used. The hide-away headlights work, powerlocks, power window, power seat, a/c, heat etc... Buyer is responsible for picking up or shipping the vehicle and needs to be picked up with in 7 days from the end of sale. Payment in full required at time of pick up. Cash or cashier's check will be the only form of payment excepted upon pick-up. There is also a $500 deposit required with in 24 hours of sales end. the only form of payment accepted for deposit is Paypal! Failing to meet these requirements will end up in the transaction being canceled. Also if the car isn't picked up with in the 10 days from eneding of the sale there will be a $50 per day storage fee as I have the vehicle stored in a fenced lot.
