Bad news: This car needs engine work...possibly a new engine. We've had the car about 4 years and driven it daily until a few weeks ago when it developed one hell of a knock. Valvetrain/timing looks good from what I could tell, and the motor seems to be firing on all cylinders. The car has not overheated. The paint job is terrible, thanks to the previous owner. The former police car was painted all black, and desperately needs new paint. The rear bumper is cracked. Good news: The transmission shifts fine and has never had a problem. The Vanderbilt tires are almost new and show very little wear. The American Racing wheels are about 4 years old and in decent shape, despite needing to be cleaned. The car had plenty of power and drove nice until a few weeks ago when the engine problem started. The battery is almost new and all accessories work, to the best of my knowledge. The "lucky" buyer will need a trailer to pick up. The car starts easy and can probably drive onto a trailer, but I haven't reconnected the coolant lines yet.
