Up for auction is my 1996 Chevy 2500HD Cheyenne 4wd extended cab 8 foot bed. This truck is as nice a one as you will find in this Classic body style, zero rust, never in salt or mud, from Wyoming. Truck has the Vortec 350 5.7, 5 speed manual transmission, 14 bolt rearend with 4.10 gears and locking differential. My 80 year old neighbor's son got this truck when it was new in 96 as his company truck for a well drilling company in Wyoming(where they DO NOT use any salt or treatments on the road, only sand and cinders, vehicles dont rust out there). He gets a new truck every 2 years. When he got his new truck in summer 1998 this truck had 104,000 miles on it. His dad bought it from the company and when I bought it from him this summer it had 115,000 miles on it. It has been garage kept since 1998. You can see how clean the bed is inside, aside from a little dirt, it hasnt hauled anything. There is no rust underneath. Only surface rust is behind the rear tires from gravel roads in Wyoming, shown in pics. Guy I bought it from never drove it in the winter, nor has it been in the mud. Truck is a pretty basic work truck with rubber floors, crank windows and manual locks. It does have air conditioning(blow ice cold), cruise control(works flawlessly), tilt wheel, and 4 wheel drive. Only flaw on the interior is a small rip on the edge of the drivers seat. Truck has 2200 miles on brand new Michelin all terrains-$874. I had new front rotors, calipers, pads, hoses, and rear brakes put on this summer-$1245, 1850 miles on it since then. Im only selling as I dont have the extra garage space to store it plus I am on the road driving all the time in a semi and have a new Duramax I dont drive as well. Feel free to come look at it.
