1983 Suzuki GS

I purchased this GS from the original owner earlier this summer. He had disassembled the engine about twelve years ago because of some cam chain noise. The bike and parts had been stored away carefully, with very little attention required to bring them back to use except for some cleaning of the body parts. This bike features its original tires, drive chain and sprockets, 18,000 miles, as well as all original paint.I bought a running replacement engine, adjusted the valve clearance then installed it. I cleaned the carbs, all of the gauges work, all the lights (and signals)work, the shift indicator works, the fuses are all present and functioning. I then bought bigger jets as it was way too lean, now the mixture is correct. I have the original engine available (I will include at the BIN price) if the high bidder is interested. The picture of the tank from the top has what looks like major scratches toward the rear of the tank, these are reflections of my garage trim, (the trim is white), not scratches.
