This is a classic Mercedes 300D sedan with a 5 cylinder diesel engine and automatic transmission. This was my daily driver for several years until I got a company car. The climate control does not work nor does the A/C. It is locked in the heater defrost position for the winter (valve under hood). This would make an excellent candidate for a bio-fueled runner. Average mileage on pump diesel is 30mpg. The engine runs excellent and the transmission shifts fine. The sunroof does not function. There is rust in the floor boards and they probably need to be replaced (not difficult). The black finish is in good condition. The windshield is cracked, but I do have another if you are in for the adventure. The electric windows function well, but the door locks are a bit sluggish (typical vacuum operated). The driver's seat is split but the others are fine. The carpet is rough. There is no radio, but all 4 speakers are new. All 4 tires are Michelin and are in good condition. This vehicle runs, drives and stops as it should. The brakes have about 1000 miles on them.
