Liquidating a long time collection after the passing of the owner, we have this 55 Coupe DeVille. VIN 556238698 This car had a cosmetic restoration completed in about 1989, was shown locally for a couple of years, and then stored indoors until recently. Car has been recommissioned over the past 2 months including head gaskets/resurfacing, carburetor, brakes, tires, fluids and filters. Paint and interior are in very good condition considering the time since restoration. This car runs and drives very well with no smoke, transmission shifts as designed, brakes have been rebuilt and work very well. The chrome trim has not been replated but is presentable. I have had this car on my lift many times over the past couple months and I am surprised by the lack of any rust and overall originality. Milage stated is strictly from the odometer reading.
