Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on a classic 1966 Mustang Convertible with a 289 V-8 "A-Code" engine (VIN 6R08C237039.) The car is a rare and highly desired "Triple Black": Raven Black paint, all black interior, and black power convertible top. This car is a beautiful driver, with a spotless interior, nice paint, and a straight and solid body. It starts up nicely and cruises smooth and solid at highway speeds. The transmission is automatic and shifts nicely. The car has power steering and a power top that works smoothly in both directions. The rear window is very clear. The car has an aftermarket A/C system (installed this year) which blows very cold. The louvers were installed below the dash board, and the A/C and heat are operated through the original heating and defroster controls. The car includes a new AM/FM radio with input for iPod or MP3 that was designed specifically for classic mustangs. It was installed without making any cuts or alterations to the dash. The original Delco AM radio is also included if you want a super-classic look (see photo). This car was built in San Jose, California. I purchased her from a gentleman in Washington State in 2010. Since coming east to me, she has been kept in a heated garage (see photo), driven only in good weather, and cared for lovingly. I am sad to let her go! The odometer currently reads just shy of 52,000 miles (though it may have turned over). This car is sold as is. Contact me for more details or if you want to see her in person. The car is a real head turner and makes a terrific driver!
