Vehicle Detail

We work in a body shop and were told about the location of an old abandoned Cutlass. So we decided to give it a look maybe we could get something out of the deal. When we get there we see a car in fairly good condition so we decided to try and start it up. It cranked on the first try and nobody knows how long that thing had sat there. So we haven't done much work on it, but we can tell you that it still runs the engine is in good shape and that there is very limited rust. The good parts of the this restoration project are that it still runs, the outside is in good shape, and the chance to really put your touch into this car still exists. The interior however does need work. The carpet has to be replaced due to some water getting to it while being abandoned. The seats are not in as bad of shape. I think that they might be salvagable, but that is at the buyer's discretion. This discription is one of pros and cons, but the facts are when you look at this car you just see something there that you need. It's a beautiful car with a lot of potential that needs an owner willing to put in the time to make it the classic it deserves to be. If that interests you make your bid and hope for the best.On Nov-14-11 at 10:12:26 PST, seller added the following information: We work in a body shop and were told about the location of an old abandoned Cutlass. The sides on the inside of the trunk have some rust but it is not a total loss. We have pics posted to show what we are referring to in the trunk.
