1978 Honda CX500

This has been my bike for two years. Before that, it had not been running or plated since 1984, with 18000 original miles on it. At the price this is at now, you could part this out and make a killing. I don't have time or space for such a venture, not to mention, I'd rather see someone riding this perfectly good bike. My neighbor sold this to me and I dropped about 1000 bucks on it, engine tuned up/carb rebuilt, new tires--this runs like a top. It's only 500cc's so when you hit 70, it's screaming for another gear, but it is a very smooth ride. Fairing with WORKING cigarette lighter (heck yes). I used to ride BWM R1200 that had another gear, this is why I say this. There is nothing mechanically wrong with this bike. I'd like to keep it, but for the 4 times a year I get to ride it to lunch or Sunday breakfast, it's probably time to let it go. I got this to ween self off the much larger, nicer bike I had sold, now it's time to move on. No warranty, no returns. Local or maybe not so local delivery possible. Freight is an option, too, I guess, if you are paying. My feedback speaks for itself. I have sold no less than 4 motorcycles, 1 minivan, 2 Dodge Dakotas, and hundreds of other things over last 12 years or so. Every customer 100% satisfied.
