RUMOR HAS IT THE THE MUSTANG NAME CAME FROM EXECUTIVE STYLIST JOHN NAJJAR'S INFATUATION WITH THE P-51 MUSTANG FIGHTER PLANES MOST COMMONLY USED IN WORLD WAR II. IT REVOLUTIONIZED THE AUTO INDUSTRY BY CREATING AMERICA'S FIRST "PONY-CLASS" VEHICLE-SPORTSCAR-LIKE COUPES WITH LONG HOODS AND SHORT REAR DUCKS. IT GAVE RISE TO COMPETITORS SUCH AS GM'S CHEVY CAMARO, AMC'S JAVELIN, AND THE RESURGENCE OF THE CHRYSLER BARRACUDA. 5 DECADES LATER IT REMAINS THE ONLY PONY-CLASS VEHICLE WITH UNINTERUPTED PRODUCTION TO DATE. IT ALSO INSPRIRED SUCH COUPES AS THE TOYOTA CELICA AND FORD CAPRI, WHICH WERE EXPORTED TO THE UNITED STATES. 1993 MODEL- THE 1993 MUSTANG WAS THE FINAL MODEL PRODUCED IN THE MUSTANGS 3RD GENERATION. EQUIPPED WITH 5.0L V8 ENGINES, HYPEREUTECTIC PISTONS, HOLLIE HEADERS, COLD AIR INTAKE, AND THE LAST BREED OF FOX-BASED CHASSIS-THE 1993 MUSTANG WAS AND IS AN AMERICAN CLASSIC WITH UNDENIABLE RECOGNITION. SPECIFIC CONDITION-OUR 1993 MUSTANG GT 3DR IS BLACK WITH GRAY INTERIOR. IT IS A SHORT STICK MANUAL. THE PICTURES MOST ACCURATELY DEPICT THE CAR'S CURRENT COSMETIC CONDITION. MECHANICALLY THE CAR STARTS AND RUNS JUST FINE. THE BRAKE LIGHT IS ALWAYS ON DUE TO AN INOPERABLE EMERGENCY BRAKE. THE A/C IN NOT WORKING.
