Hello, up for auction is a 2001 Mercedes SLK 230 even though the badging says "320". The previous owner must have switched the numbers around to make it look like a 320, dork. I bought this car about 6 months ago from a guy that took very very good care of it and called it his baby. I bought it because it looked really cool compared to other SLK 230's and for the gas mileage because my job was far from my home. I have recently been transferred to a location near my home and also have a truck so I am looking to sell both and consolidate into one vehicle. This car has the AMG, Sport package, and upgraded factory 18" wheels which sets it apart from other SLK 230's. The interior on these vehicles this age looks pretty bad but this one is an exception. It is not perfect by all means but it is in very good condition for its age. The exterior is also in great condition, no door dings or dents, just a few rock chips on the hood. I just bought some factory touch up paint but have not had time to use it. The a/c is very cold and the hard top convertible works like a charm and only takes about 20-30 seconds to raise or lower with just the push of a button, no un doing latches or any of that. One of only two flaws on this car is the rear view mirror is one of those auto dimming mirrors and now has brown rings in it (see pic). You can still see out of it but it is annoying, I would have replaced it if I was going to keep it but I didn't want to mess with it. Also, the driver's side seat has a small tear in it that has not spread any bigger (see pic). I just want to disclose everything possible so there will not be any surprises. There will also be two keys included and the owners manual too. I will accept full payment by paypal if you add an extra $100 to the sales price to cover some of the transaction fees, please let me know first if that is your option.
