Offered for sale is a 1992 Alfa Romeo Spider in British Racing Green (Verde Inglese #306) with tan leather interior. This is the top of the line Veloce model. The vehicle is all original, not restored. Sporting an original factory paint finish, what you see is what you get, there are no hidden surprises. There is an occasional ding and blemish in the paintwork, consistent with the age of the car, however, the body is very straight with no signs of rust present. Interior is starting to show some signs of aging, with patina in the leather, and some wear/discoloration of the seating surfaces. However, overall it is very presentable. The dashboard is free of cracks, the glass is great all around, no cracks or scratches. Original "Alfa Romeo" stereo from the factory. The engine is in perfect tune, and is very strong. This is easily the fastest Spider I've driven, and I've driven a few! The acceleration is very brisk, and reminiscent of the '50's era Giulietta Veloce, which was a benchmark at the time. The performance of the engine of this series 4 Spider is truly remarkable! Smooth shifting 5-speed transmission, no funny noises from the suspension or rear end. Tires are almost new. Full spare factory alloy wheel in the trunk. All road wheels are free of road rash. The exhaust is all new from the catalitic converter back. The Bosch fuel injection air hoses have been replaced with new. All parts are sourced from IAP. Everything in this car works as it should, including power mirrors and power windows (which are actually quite fast, unlike many!). I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere. It wasn't an easy decision to part with such an original example of the most desireable Spider, but alas, new toys are on the way, and I'm losing the garage space. I'd hate to see this car sit outside over the winter. Please study the included 50 pictures, and bid with confidence. The car's mileage was recorded incorrectly during an emission test some years ago as 147k instead of 47k miles, hence the Carfax report comes out wrong. This isn't anything that I can correct at this point. State of WA does not record or keep track of mileage for vehicles over 10 years old. Please take this into account when bidding.
