Bimmers and Beaters | eBay Listing DESCRIPTION For sale is an all original 1988 Mazda RX-7 convertible with 90379 original miles. Runs and drives Excellent. Great example of this model. This is a very nice RX-7 model. DETAILS ENGINE The engine is the 1.3 liter rotary. The engine runs excellent. The car has been recently tuned up with new spark plugs, fuel filter, air filter, oil and oil filter. TRANSMISSION It has the original 5 speed manual transmission. It goes into all the gears perfectly with no grinding or slipping issues. It has worn bushings with sloppiness in the shifter, but is easy to drive. INTERIOR It has the original gray cloth interior with no cuts or tears in the sports seats. They are in great condition. The carpets are clean and not soiled. PAINT AND BODY The body is in exceptional shape with the Bright Red paint in great condition. It has no rust on the body. There are normal small rock chipping/scratching that have been touched, this is expected from a 19-year-old car. There is a dent on the lower front passenger fender. (see below). It has a glass rear window. The power top works. WHEELS AND TIRES It has a rare set of 16" BBS RS two piece wheels with good tires with about 70% tread left. ELECTRICAL AND ACCESSORIES It has an A/C system that works great and blows cold. All the windows and mirrors function correctly. The radio cassette player turns on but no sound comes out. EXHAUST It has the original factory exhaust system that is in great shape. SUSPENSION AND BRAKES It has great brakes front and rear. The suspension is stock and is in very good shape.
