Bimmers and Beaters | eBay Listing DESCRIPTION For sale is an all original 1992 BMW 318ic convertible with 168,088 original miles. Runs and drives Excellent. Great example of this model. This is a very nice 318ic model. DETAILS ENGINE The engine is the 1.8 liter (DOHC) 4 cylinder. The engine runs excellent. The car has been recently tuned up with new spark plugs, fuel filter, air filter, oil and oil filter. TRANSMISSION It has the original 5 speed manual transmission. It goes into all the gears perfectly with no grinding or slipping issues. It has good bushings with no sloppiness in the shifter. INTERIOR It has the original beige leatherette interior with no cuts or tears in the sports seats. They are in excellent condition. The carpets are clean and not soiled. The dash does have a a very small crack. The back seat is in great shape. PAINT AND BODY The body is in great shape with the Laguna green metallic paint in good condition. It has no major dents or rust on the body. There are some minor paint chips on the front fenders about the size of a dime and a 2 inch wrinkle in the paint from removing a couple of dents this is expected from a 19-year-old car. A new plastic rear window has been installed. The manual top works correctly. WHEELS AND TIRES It has the original factory 14" wheels with almost new tires with about 80% tread left. ELECTRICAL AND ACCESSORIES It has an A/C system that works great and blows cold. All the windows and mirrors function correctly. The Alpine CD player works fine. EXHAUST It has the original factory exhaust system that is in great shape. SUSPENSION AND BRAKES It has great brakes front and rear. The suspension is stock and is in very good shape.
